Checking EZA Article Views in Google

Hi guys,

If I wanted to find out exactly how to see the amount of article views a particular article (e.g. ezine article) has received in the search engines, how can I do this?

I was shown something for this issue recently, but it doesn't bring the results that I need, i.e. it didn't answer my question.

It would be great if someone could help me out on this.

    I am not sure I understand the question you are asking.

    Do you mean you want to know how many visitors the articles get from the search engines? Because If that is the case I am not sure you can get this info unless they are your articles and you have a tracking mechanism in place.

    So please shed some light on the question

      That's correct, viewing the amount of visitors an article gets from the search engines. I'm sure you can do this because I have seen others do it. :confused:

    Enter this entire phrase into the search engine:


    "This article has been viewed 10000...100000 time(s)" site:ezinearticles.com

    Put the keyword in front of it as well to search for specific keywords... for example, you want to search for an article on "weight loss", on EZA, with a view count of about 1000-1500:


    weight loss "This article has been viewed 1000...1500 time(s)" site:ezinearticles.com



    Now, this is specific to Ezine Articles, and their article views. For other websites, such as goarticles, I wouldn't be sure, as I don't use them.

    Does anyone know how to search for articles based on word count?

    Sure, you can use Google wildcards to do this.

    For example, use this search to find ezinearticles about "weightloss" with a word count between 500 and 1000:

    weightloss "Article Word Count: 500..1000" site:ezinearticles.com

    I would also suggest that if you are looking for articles with a large view count for "educational" purposes (such as in watching your competition, or trying to see what they write about that gets lots of views), I would also then recommend checking the backlinks each article has.


    Sometimes an article has a huge view count because the author(s) has/have worked towards backlinking and other things to make the article rank well and be viewed alot in the first place.


    This is an effective way to watch your competition and know what works, and what doesn't. After all, why make the same mistakes others make, when you can simply learn from the ones who already know what they are doing, and are doing it right?
