Better than Aweber solution..

After some advice folks, we have a few Aweber accounts and they do a decent job especially when you upgrade to the marking and analysis package but there's one thing it doesn't do which frustrates the heck out of us.

If you have multiple lists and you want to send to all of them but then resend to the unopens you can't do so as Aweber can only see the unopens from the primary list you send from.

Do any of the bigger more pro level mailing services have this functionality ?

Hi there, I believe 'Infusionsoft' have the ability to do this on their advanced package, but its not cheap, but worth a look, and possibly 'Marketers choice' may, as in many respects its similiar to Infusionsoft, but cheaper.

Hope that helps! By any chance are you from/based in the UK (I am)?
    Thanks!

Yes, I'm often in the UK, we have marketerschoice/1shoppingcart.com as well however it can't support the above, infact I don't even think it can support re-sending the same e-mail to unopens.

Enterprise solutions does. You can do anything with the scripting language. But you don't need the scripting language for something that easy.

This may be slightly off course, however, does Aweber not have cheaper black label options..

Some folks have private label versions that are using the older pricing structure. Sometimes they're called "white label" sites. Maybe that's what you're referring to?

You could get autoresponse plus 3 and intall it on your own server, then you have complete control over your autoresponder system.

Why not just tell aWeber to move those that open the email in question to a new list; they opened eMail A list?

That way all you're left with on the original list are the ones that "didn't" open 'eMail A'... easy to resend; less work too. Don't even have to go through the headache of moving your existing list off aWeber.

Someone mentioned InfusionSoft; that's how they do it, btw. You set up "actions" that are 'triggered' based on certain criteria. They've not come up with anything all that innovative, really... but, that's another thread. (and just my opinion)

      tecHead,

We're always working on empowering our users to do cool things with their email. While not native in our application (yet), expect some magic to hit the app in January.

That said, here is a fairly simple, yet cool way to leverage the API to execute actions upon loading an image in an email. This might be to "remove from follow-up sequence" or whatever you want. It's on our blog, written by our own Tyler who uses this in various marketing campaigns to do some snazzy split-testing:

Advanced Open Email Tracking With Infusionsoft | Infusionsoft Blog

A word of caution -- the practice of remailing unopened messages with the utmost of judgment and advocacy for recipients. Just because someone didn't open your images, doesn't mean they didn't read your email. Just be careful with it, as it could really annoy people if you're ignorant about it.

Because we don't have any requirement to move them to a new list, nor would we want to.
