Youtube accounts - make a new one?

I've got an account there where I market some of my stuff. However I've created a new account to coincide with my domain name which everything is switching over to. The predicament is that I've got lots of subscribers on my old account and it would be difficult to build up that many on a new one. I've looked around and so far I don't think Youtube will change your account name, or merge them.

What would you do in this situation? Just go with a new account that has a better name, or stick with the old one with tons of subscribers??

I would say stick with the old one. It seems to be working fine so why change it. If it is working there is no reason to change in my opinion.

I would keep the old on too. You can try to promote your new one with the old one but I don't think you will get 100% subscribers to transfer over.

I have looked too and I haven't seen an option for merging accounts.

But I agree with Alaister, if your old one is working you probably shouldn't change it.
