Create free tool to attract inbound links

Hi,

I want to create some free online tools to attract inbound links. However, the pages containing these tools will normally only have a button or edit box, not many texts. So it is easy for them to be taken as thin contents. How to prevent this?

Obviously, if you have a page with an app on it, there's not going to be much content.

When people are looking for an app, they're not seeking content anyway.

Get a great domain name, attract traffic, and carry on.

Below the tool and the boxes you spoke of write a killer article with things in it that are super relevant to the tool.

Don't shoot the messenger, maybe what you write is different, but...

    Possible examples would be:

    What is XYZ tool?

    How Does XYZ Tool Work?

Cheat Codes Or Methods To Get The Most Out Of XYZ Tool

Best Practices For Using XYZ Tool To Keep Your Site Safe

Why XYZ Tool Is The Best One To Use In This Scenario

The Benefits Of Using XYZ Tool

There are more, just get creative. Now you have a great and useful content page along with your tool.

Your actual page where you sell your "tool" shouldn't be your landing page

Write content that then links to your actual buying page - like something about how to get links, how hard it is and how much easier it would be with a great tool. Then introduce the tool and a link to the page that actually sells it.

To prevent thin information established, include some useful knowledge nearby your tools. Some of the following may include: blog posts, FAQ or ways to improve your use of the tools. They may also be explained by using the so called user testimonials, or case studies. So you improve the content and make it more interesting, which means more site visitors will link to it themselves!

Adding a FAQ section, user reviews, or even visuals like infographics or videos and examples, and most importantly show how your tool works and can work. Link to related resources or articles on your site for additional context.
