Locate the publications in which you want to advertise, and contact
    them about their rates.

You can use A.I. to find publications, or you can Google this.

As far as what is in the ad, you should be able to place business
related content that includes your phone number or web address.

    Here are a few I found adweek.com/mediakit, adage.com/section/advertise, digiday.com/advertise, industrydive.com/contact, etc , etc.

If you need country specific, you need to tell us which country, I bet there are people here from that specific place who can suggest local newspapers/magazines.

In my FINAL HOLIDAY report that is being released on Nov. 28, I delve into what I call the OBSCURE money making ideas.

And mlm/networking itself is well known, there are many cash gifting type mlm too.

One of the sites I include in my FINAL report is xlbworld dot com, where you can find a current issue of SHORE TO SHORE Monthly Magazine, maybe you will get some ideas.

Although everyone here wants to do IM, these small circular pubs, often with only 5k subscribers, can and have produced healthy cash flows for decades, and I speak from experience.

You won't reach millions, but you do reach BUYERS and mlm enthusiasts.

Obscure is one of three topics; the other two are OLD ideas, and NEW trends.

But offline mailorder circs are still dropping dollars in mailboxes, and most have some sort of an online presence too.

Yes you can advertise locally. For affiliate marketing it would be better if you've built your own website and advertise affiliate offers from there.

I am sure there are zillions of places you could look to advertise. They key here is where are your target audience hanging out? Putting an advert somewhere is great, but will the right people see it? You don't want 'eyeballs' for 'eyeballs' sake, you want the RIGHT eyeballs on your ad. So make sure you know exactly where your tribe hang out online and what will resonate with them. Once you have that, then the places to advertise will reveal themselves. Best of luck to you
