Links from EAZ articles to my blogger blog

Hello everyone!

It is a nice forum you have here ;-)

Could you please help me with the following question?

Can I link in resource box from my EzineArticles article to my blogger blog which has the following address MYBLOG .blogspot .com?

I want to use this blog as a landing page with the next affiliate link from it directly to a selling page of a merchant the product of whom I am promoting. I am going to locate this link on my blog in the form of a banner or a text link.

I am afraid that the problem may arise because this is not a top-level domain while the EZA rules prescribe to redirect to an affiliate link from the top-level of a domain name. Exact quote is as follows:

"We reject articles with direct affiliate links. It is ok, however, forward/redirect to an affiliate link from the top-level of a domain name you own. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:

ht tp://your-company-name .com/

...but it would not be permissable to forward to an affiliate link from:

ht tp://your-company-name .com/page.html
ht tp://your-company-name .com/subdirectory/
ht tp://your-company-name .com/subdirectory/page.html

This is one of our many article quality standards."

I appreciate your help. I'm looking forward to much pleasant time at this forum! ;-)

I know that EZA has that standard, and i also had some articles rejected once because i used a subdomain like xyz . mydomain . com

But then i have seen OTHER people use weebly . com like xyz . weebly . com in their articles - so its really not clear when this policy applies and when not.

    1) I believe it is possible to link to your blog.blogger.com address.
No guarantees from me though unfortunately..:p

    2) Invest in your own 'top-level' domain name asap.

I think that EZA's stance on top level domains only applies when you are using a redirect to another site. As far as I know, you can link to any page you want if the reader is actually going to that page.

    Thank you guys!

As far as I understand there is no consensus regarding this issue. There is no single approach to it with EZA itself either ;-) at least on practice... When surfing EZA articles I encountered links to affiliate blogger blogs several times.

The chances are good that it will pass... The only way to figure it out for sure is to try on by myself.

I will let you know if I succeed with this approach ;-)

    Thank you, Alexa!

Well it makes sense... then, to be for sure, I will send them request and will stick to their official position.
