Sudden Drop in Blog Impressions and Rankings: Any Insights?

Has anyone experienced a new or old blog initially getting good impressions, around 500 per day, but then dropping to just 30-40? Articles rank on the 1st or 2nd page for low-competition keywords but suddenly lose their position the next day.

The blog content is all original, not AI copy-paste. I have tried to give all of this blog content a fresh perspective based on my experience. I don't understand why this happens.

The algorithm is constantly making changes which can affect your rankings. You can't beat the algorithm but you can run site audits every 3 to 4 months to identify problems and enhance your sites quality.

  • Don't lose hope! Keep focusing on adding high-quality content and ensuring it fulfills user intent. With consistent effort, your site can recover and perform well again.

I faced a similar issue with my site (links not permitted in posts - deleted by moderator), but I stayed persistent, and now it's attracting great traffic. Patience and dedication really pay off!

I think you should wait for your article to rank up as sometimes this happens. It all depends on the search volume for the keyword that you want to rank for. Don't predict anything immediately.

Your blog's traffic and rankings might drop because of Google changes, slow loading, or less relevant content. It could also be due to more competition or fewer clicks. To fix it, update your content, fix any issues, and make your site more user-friendly.
