Ezine articles and pen names.

Hi guys,

So I'm wondering about how I can control the security of my articles online. For example with ezine articles, people can just type my name in and every single article I've written under my name will come up.

I have read somewhere that you can have separate pen names but does this mean that it can't be tracked back to all of my articles.

So for example if I have a pen name called John, and I have 10 articles under the pen name if somebody clicks on view all of John's articles were just only show those 10 articles or the show those 10 articles plus the other 30 or 40 articles from the other pen names I have?

Thanks in advance,

Peter

If you want to hide, create different pen names and even go for creating different accounts.

But why do you want to hide? One of the advantages of submitting articles to Ezine is the expert author status. If you are in the right niche with lot of articles published on Ezine articles, your customers might treat you as an expert in the subject.

I'm just worried about people that might copy my niche websites that's all.

Creating new accounts is the best way to go, but then you'll have to go through the approval process each time, but if your niches aren't related to each other, like IM and home gardening, then you really should, because you don't want to be known as an expert in two totally different niches, people will figure out you're not really an expert in either.

I agree, this advice could make all of your hard work for nothing when your entire account(s) get banned.

You don't need to create extra accounts anyway. Your pen names are treated as completely separate accounts. When people click to see all of the articles under one of your author names, they will only be shown articles under THAT name.

It's also more convenient to have them all under one account, you can easily switch between them to check stats, etc. Plus you don't have to keep going through the approval process, getting to Platinum, etc. Adding a pen name takes just a few seconds and is automatically approved unless you choose a name the editors don't like, then it would get flagged. But if you're using "normal" sounding names you'd probably not have a problem.
