School Student Advice - Part time job or IM?

Good day there Warriors

Yesterday I was having a conversation with a friend of mine and he is at school at the moment and he has just finished exams, this leaves him with about 2 months before he continues with his studies further.

So we talking and comparing whether he should get a part time job, as a waiter, shop assistant etc or should he enter Internet Marketing?

I thought about this and then came up with the following list why he should enter Internet Marketing instead of getting a part time job:
  • With IM you build a business, a business that can earn you money in the years to come. The income is not just once off.
  • Instead of a part time job he can use his time to learn and set up a website and try affiliate marketing
  • By entering IM and by starting a business he will have the knowledge and business which will be an asset to him
  • A part time job will limit him to what he can earn and when he will have to work, but with IM the possibilities are limitless
Well that's why list so far, please feel free to add to it. I hope this thread will be useful to my friend and any other new Warriors.

All the best

A part time job will pay at the end of the month, no matter what.
A part time job doesn't take years to develop.
Taking in account the given conditions - he's new to IM, he don't know what he's doing and he got only 2 months - IMO -tell him to take the job and spend some hours learning IM. He will at least make some money right now.

Very true, there is also that option.

What I am going to do is I am going to let people add their recommendations here and then I will give my friend the link to the thread.

Then he can read it and make an informed decision, thanks to the Warrior Forum

    Hello,
I would go with the part time job.
What you need is the social interaction with other people.
There is always time for internet marketing.
The art of hearing and talking is something that will
    last with you forever.
    Good Luck.

Do both? Why not do a part time job and do IM as even more part time to see if you like it or not.

If it's possible to do both... it's pretty much an ideal situation really. The part time job will give you consistency, money to invest in the online businesses while getting you out of the house and away from the computer while the online business will ensure you have a long term income and something you can build up over time.

        Best advice so far,

Do both and earn both the incomes

I agree with the above suggestions to you.I would suggest you that better to start with one and then start next one. Don't start both at once.

Do a part time job first, save up some money and then do IM after spending some time learning about the field. You need to have a bit of money if you want to get started quickly anyway.
