    Hi Misha39
I think alot will depend on your resources...ie. (money, time, skills etc.) Like Andyhenry said do some searches on the forum for "traffic" and then see what fits best for you. IMHO I would read all the posts in the threads as sometimes you get extra clues from the questions other people ask, and how the OP answers....

There's a thousand ways to generate traffic and all of them are the best. As mentioned, do a search for it and you'll see some creative ways.

      I would say favorites are:

      1. Basic SEO and organic traffic
      2. Video
      3. Article marketing

There are many ways to get traffic. You just need to pick one and focus on it until you succeed. A good place to start is article marketing. It takes a lot of work, but it is free. Start writing articles and submit them to the article directories. Start building traffic through them. It will also give you back links to boost your search engine rankings.

Forums are another great source of traffic, if they allow a signature link. Just make sure you are providing relevant information on the topic. Also, try to focus your comments to topics relevant to your website.

I have one website that 75% of my traffic comes through various forums. The content on that site is not the greatest (it was my first one) but it converts at almost 30% to sales. Why? because I built a relationship with those people before they ever saw my website, and they trusted my recommendation for a product. The best way to do that is to start by being honest and real with people. Give more than you ask for.

Remember, it is not the volume of traffic that is important, it is the Quality. You can make more off of 10-20 highly targeted, and presold visitors than you can off of 50-100 random visitors that know nothing about you.

I would also suggest to use " scrapebox " which can be used to drive a lot of traffic to your affiliate link.

I would not suggest PPC if you are new to it..you can lose a lot if you don't really know how to do PPC in a right way..rather stick to free methods, and in the meantime learn PPC too

I concur with Avdo - you can lose a lot of money if you don't know what you are doing. Sure you will get your required number of hits, but your conversions won't make up the difference ;(

Many of the suggestions made here are very good... But just submitting a bunch of articles blindly probably will take a lot of work, yet not give you the results you want. There is a special techinque to almost all traffic generation strategies...

It's easy to mention "article marketing" and look like a PRO, but until you've written a couple hundred and tested various ways to write them in many niches for yourself I don't think you truly understand how to teach how they should be done...

Video is another example... Most of my videos fail, yet many succeed. Even today, the videos I thought would take off are stuck at 100 views or less and some that I did for fun, didn't cut or edit are up in the 50,000+ views range.

The key is DO IT and LEARN WHILE YOU DO IT =)

Proper search engine optimization is priceless. Other methods, such as Forum Marketing, Blogs and Article Marketing, PPC/PPV ads on Facebook, Yahoo, Google, etc, Magazine/Newspaper ads. A bumpersticker on your car, a flyer at the grocery store. The possibilities are endless!
