Anyone Familiar With PDF Submissions?

Hey everyone. I've known that making an article into a PDF and distributing it to PDF directories is one of the many uses of a single article. However, I'm just wondering what the main purpose of it is?

Is it for the extra traffic or is it a backlink opportunity? or both?

I'm just not sure if a backlink in a PDF would count as a backlink. Just curious before I get into this PDF submission thang.

Thanks..

PDF submission is similar to article submission. Only in this case, your PDF gets indexed.

Sites like Scribd and Slideshare get indexed very very quickly.

So make sure you have all your important keywords/LSI keywords in your PDF.

And it's not just PDF. You can also submit powerpoint slides.

    Hope this helps.

Hi TTran, PDF submission is another form of content syndication and is another good way to gain extra exposure for your content, and generate traffic to your website.

From my own experience, sites like free-ebooks.net and getfreeebooks.com are both very good sites where you can get quite a bit of exposure for your content.
