Hey Guys,

I just finished Interviewing Jeff Herring for My
New Article Marketing product

I asked him about "Article Spinning"

He called it Article Vomit

In fact none of the people I have have interviewed so
far do anything with Article spinning and believe that filling
the directories with a bunch of junk is not a good
long term business model

As Bill O'Reilly would say ... "What say you"?

I did article spinning before, and then submiting to directories, but my common sense was telling me, while I was doing that, this is not good for long term, no no..

too much work for bad article in the end..and you losing you credibility in the end when someone reads it..

When I don't write my own articles, I rewright them..but spinning no more

This is definitely a debatable topic...

I guess it really comes down to what you're trying to accomplish when it comes to article marketing.

I use article marketing as a way to get easy backlinks for my niche blogs and I'm not overly concerned with the quality of content I produce and submit to these directories. I'm not saying I submit complete garbage, I'm just saying if these directories think they can have my best content displayed on THEIR website they are sadly mistaken.

I use: Easy Article Rewriter - Rewrite Existing Articles With Ease to spin my articles. Well it's more of an article rewriter requiring you to use your brain (the most powerful piece of software you own ) to rewrite articles.

    Pretty accurate, I'd say.

There are actually several ways to spin articles, and most people aren't familiar with the differences between them. I can demonstrate this pretty easily.

    [word replacement]

There are really many methods to rotate writing, and many citizens aren't educated with the variations between them. I may show this cute simply.

    [phrase replacement]

Many ways to spin articles exist, and not everyone is familiar with all of them. It's not hard to demonstrate.

    [sentence replacement]

Many people are unfamiliar with - or even unaware of - the differences in article spinning methods. Demonstration, however, is reasonably simple.

    [paragraph replacement]

Demonstrating the different kinds of article spinning is reasonably simple, even though it's not widely known how these methods differ.

    -----

As you replace larger and larger blocks of text with newly written text, two things happen. First, the end result is of higher quality; second, a computer is increasingly unable to do it.

As your blocks of text get smaller, however, you can generate more versions of the same article. With paragraph replacement, that paragraph has two variations. Sentence replacement provides four. Phrase replacement, eight. Word replacement gives a whopping 8,192. So if you're looking at numbers, this simple two-sentence paragraph can be spun into thousands of articles with word replacement... while paragraph replacement only gives two. However, in an eight-paragraph article, you would still get 256 variations with just two versions of each paragraph... and with three, you'd get 6,561.

Article spinning CAN work... it's just not as easy or as automatable as people would like.

I would judge the finished product not the manner of production.

Surely you all have seen some pretty horrible stuff written by individuals.

When I use Big Mike's Content re-writer it comes out great. I know that is not spinning but it is still a "helped" derivation of the original.

I think Jeff was generalizing and one should remember that he gets paid to write

p.s. raj_luckyonline you need to contribute to the conversation or delete your post. You are starting off on the wrong foot here.

    Jack,

If you replaced the words "Article Spinning" in your OP with the words "word processing software", it would make about as much sense.

In other words, it's not about the tools you use (or don't use) - it's about the end result.

"Article spinning" software is just a tool - used properly, the results can be of extremely high quality. Used improperly, the results will be, as you say... vomit!
