Can you sell a Hubpage blog?

So interesting question....

I log into one of my rather old email accounts and see that it's loaded with emails from one of my old Hubpages account. Long story short....I have this hub that I created awesome content for about a year and half ago...

During this time this hub has secured number 1 spot in google for a term that has comp, gets about 150ish visitors per day, it's poll has been voted on literally more than 5,000 times, have about 120 comments (which is one reason the hub is pushed so high up from that content), with people literally BEGGING me for help (this is the nature of the niche). I haven't spent much time monetizing it and honestly don't want to (I have other things on my plate that need taking care of.

So question is....

Is there anyway to sell that hub over to someone? I know I can't actually move the domain name and hosting over to someone, but they can have the whole blog, niche etc to their own. This thing has take a life of it's own, been number one in google for so long now, gets plenty of traffic daily, followers, desperate followers etc...

Does anyone know if it's possible to somehow sell a hub?

Thanks in advance for all the help!!

Why don't you just sell the login information?
Or do you have several hubs on your account?

I'm sorry I should have made that clear! That's what I really want to do, and thankfully it's just the one hub on that account which makes it much easier to deal with.

But how does one go about selling a login for a successful hub?

Hi there...look into an escrow service...escrow.com may be able to accommodate this project. I use it for domains all the time...and I know this is quite different...

You know who you might want to ask? People who sell MMORPG (warcraft, Ultima Online) accounts...this works quite the same way sometimes...

Just checkout escrow.com and sites like it and you will have your answer..

I don't see why not, squidoo lenses have been sold left and right, so I would assume that you could easily sell hubpages blogs as well.

      DO NOT do this..

Paypal will 100% time side with a buyer in a digital transaction. And since you aren't selling a physical product, it would be SIMPLE for a prospective buyer to:

      "Buy" the login credentials
      Change the passwords
      Open a paypal dispute
      Get their money back
      Leave you screwed.

Some people that I know have used paypal but instead of selling the login credentials, they have sold a login sheet that was physically mailed to the person. They claim that if you physically mail them something and keep tracking record of it (and submit to paypal if there is a charge back) that paypal will take your side.

That's hear-say though.. do your own research on that if you want to use paypal.

Why not keep it and monetize it? I find it hard to believe that someone would want to sell a "naturally ranking" page!
Atleast test out a few affiliate links before attempting to sell it... you never know what kind of results you'll see

Wow! Guys thank you for the responses! Sorry to get back to this as late as I have.

I'll def. check out the suggestions that you guys have pushed my way!

Honestly, I could care less about their terms of service. Hubpages will never know anyway and the sale is as simple as changing and giving up the login information to them. I actually have 3 more hubs in that account as well that are not as great performers but are in the same niche.

I've just noticed that I'm ranked on top in yahoo as well for a few terms.

I saw that I have a couple that are interested in this as well. I would be more than willing to talk further about this hub if you're interested. Just PM me.
