Most Wanted PLR Topics?

No, this post isn't an "advance WSO" interest generating post. It's about me making a decision on where I want to go with this whole IM thing. See, I'm one of those people who has been on the Internet Marketing trampoline so long now it's a living wonder I don't suffer from IM whiplash.

Those of you who've been here a while know how much I've bounced around over the last few years, right? Right. (Shhh.)

Anyway, I'm wearied of bouncing, and ready to settle down and do just one thing, and do it as well as I possibly can. Since writing seems to be my strong suit, if I can do it on my own time, I've decided to go with offering PLR.

(No, I do not have anything to offer in this post - I'm just asking for your input, if you're willing to give it.)

So...The domain name is chosen, I've got a plan for putting everything together and maintaining the necessaries all whittled out, and I'll begin working on putting the website together soon, but ... I need some help from those of you who consistently purchase PLR for your websites, blogs, autoresponders, etc.

I need to know your most wanted PLR topics.

I mean, there's no sense writing about things no one needs content on, right?

So if you're willing to oblige me, how about posting a response down below letting me know what topics you need content for.

I already have relationships, IM, pet care, weight loss, body building, parenting, and music on the list, but if you have more specific (or more generic) topics you'd love to purchase PLR content for, jot it down below.

Thanks,

Tina

There is a demand for niches that require specialized knowledge, like forex and poker. If you can write on these topics, you can charge more than your normal amount.

This is actually a bit off topic. I was intrigued with the whole PLR thing this past summer and bought a boatload (40GB) of content, graphics and software, and audio.

Then I found out what an organizational nightmare it was just taking an accurate inventory of it all and presenting it so people would actually know what you have. Not much fun for a right brain kinda guy.

Maybe you've got that part down. BTW, here's a shameless plug for a classified offer I have going. Take a look at my sig. Just creating the inventory list in that post took two days of work.

Oh, as for content I'd like to see, special reports and stuff you can turn viral and use for opt-in bait...

For more ideas... I think the popular ClickBank product topics would be needed by many people. The products which are always popular there would be great ideas.

But also, seasonal topics are good too, Christmas, New Years, Winter. Fitness will start becoming even more popular again in a month.

    Hope those ideas help,

I would love to be able to find really good tutorials for newbies on things like FTP, setting up a WordPress blog, setting up your first web site, and a good HTML cheatsheet. Some of this stuff is available, but it's not up to date, by the time I fix it, could have written myself. Anyway, nuts and bolts things that everyone assumes you know, but as a total beginner, you don't know.

Thank you to everyone who has replied so far. I've added all of your topics to my list, which is growing exponentially! For every topic you've listed, I've listed another several that were spurred from yours.

Anyone else have some you'd like to add? I'll put them on the list.

Another question: how picky are you/will you be about purchasing PLR? Do you prefer your specific kind of PLR all bundled up into a package, or are PLR memberships more to your liking, where you'd get a variety of PLR each month and use the pieces specific to your niche(s)?

Your answer won't affect how I am planning to set things up initially, but they definitely will affect my direction of growth. So let me have it...how would you prefer to get your PLR?

Thanks again, and keep those topics coming!

    Tina

Hi, you might want to check out this link explaining a bit more about Maslow's pyramid:

Maslow's hierarchy of needs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For an individual, a pet might fit into several of these categories.

If you have a big bulldog with you while walking on the street, that might increase your sense of safety.

A dog could also provide friendship.

Being able to take care of a pet might increase self-esteem, confidence and so on.

Having a well groomed and fine example of a pet, might for some people provide self-actualization.

Let's say you have an info-product about a certain pet. Using the above logic, you should be able to make several versions of your product, each catering to different needs in different people.

    thunderbird, added.

Bjarne, love the human needs pyramid. That thing is awesome. Thanks for posting it!

    ProductCreator,
Sounds like a good setup. For me, I'm going to go with a fixed membership initially, offering high-quality articles from 500-1500 words that even a print magazine would be happy to accept.

With the current shake-up at EZA, I'm sure others will quickly follow suit, and there is going to be a very real need for high quality, well-organized, well-written, unspun (not the human-readable kind) articles and content in general.

Hadn't thought of an escalating membership fee, but it is interesting.

    Anyone else?

Pets fit into every one of the categories. Yes, even the physiological division. I'm a southern girl, and huntin' dogs come to mind - the pet that assists with the getting of food for survival.

    Thanks for the link, Bjarne.

Today I saw a seeing eye dog leading a blind woman, and the dog pressed the button to turn the crosswalk light on!

I then recalled that dogs often help find survivors of earthquakes, mudslides, and other disasters. Also, dogs are often used by the police to track down dangerous criminals.

    Hi Tina,
    Congrats on settling down!

The subjects I've written PLR on, that sell the best for me are:
    (in no particular order)

    weight loss
    anything IM-related
    work from home
    dogs
    anxiety/panic attacks
    going green
    gardening
    weddings

    Hope that helps.

I agree with the posts about green living and alternative energy.

I would also add an "aging baby boomer" concept -- anti-aging, health for people over 50, osteoporosis, menopause, prostate health, nutrition and fitness for people over 50, retirement planning, etc.

I posted this in the off topic section of warrior forum (pasted below), but these could be interesting, though controversial PLR topics:
-- Will vaccines harm unborn babies? Has there actually been research into it?
-- Are drug manufactures and/or health authorities lying when they say there is no more mercury in vaccines than in tuna? Answer: Yes
-- What are the long term effects of vaccines?
-- Did vaccines cause Gulf War Syndrome?

    Reference:
    What?s in your H1N1 flu vaccine? | Vancouver, Canada | Straight.com
--The Mercury in Swine Flu Vaccine Exceeds Daily "Safe" Mercury Level For Pregnant Women by 56%. Unlike food sources of mercury, vaccine is injected straight into the blood.
-- The vaccine will "severe adverse reactions" in approximately 395 out of 100,000 of its recipients, 50 times more than people actually
    afflicted with swine flu itself.
-- There have been no studies of the adverse effects of vaccines on unborn babies. When health authorities say it is safe, they are lying because they don't actually know.

I think that if someone was to write PLR articles about poker strategy, and moves and such, not just fluff. I am talking about how to slow play, how to squeeze play, all the moves from begginer to advanced player, that would be on heck of a PLR article pack.

I would pay for it, thats for sure.
