How To Outsource Off-Page SEO?

Hey guys,

I hope you're doing well!

I have a blog that is popular in my niche but I want to get its ranking up for a couple of main keywords that have a lot of traffic and weak search results.

One keyword in particular gets roughly 100,000 searches a month. I want to be in the top three for this term. (My blog has the URL of the keyword!)

So here is my question:

What is the best way to get the off site SEO done?

Should I take the approach of paying an outsourcing team to get me to the top 3 for this keyword for a set fee? Should I use one of my rockstar outsourcers to consistently build backlinks?

I'm confused as to where to look / where to go / how to go to get my off site SEO done.

Any advice is appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance,

~Sean

It is an extremely risky business with outsourcing work if you don't have any previous connections.

My advice is to go with a medium size company. It will cost more but your money is safer with them. Too many individuals and small offshore outsourcing companies will just plain rip you off.

If you have the skills and the time you might also look into hiring a virtual employee that works for you everyday. But you need to send them exactly what to do and check on their work which could be time consuming. Best part about that is they will send you a spreadsheet of everything they do that day.

Id just hire a company to push for those specific keywords. I can't remember the name of the one I've used at the moment but there are a lot of good sites out there that will do it for you.

Main thing is make sure they send you detailed status reports and have a look at their process maps before you hire them. All good sites will have no problem giving you this.

just keep adding fresh content it will get there sooner or later. I'd use SEOquake and search for high pr's to link to. Check with Andy Duncan or someone that knows seo good.

I do "Bum SEO" for some time...that is, i go on webmaster forums and hire people for cheap. I never had a problem with this. Linkbuilding, Angela Method, Link Wheels, Blog Commenting, its all there and people are eager to do this for very little money.

But of course, it depends on your budget and some people might shy away from hiring someone on a forum - but then there's things like itrader and rep to get an idea how reliable a person is. Sometimes i think that 75% of India must be into SEO SOME guys on the forums do a really great job! I just had another bunch of high PR links done today and cant complain.

So lets say I have 5 specific keywords that I want to target...

    1 in particular.

Should I hire a firm to get my site in the top 3?

    Or

Should I just pay the outsourcers an hourly rate to do the same work that a firm like this would do (article submission, backlinking etc)?

Your advice is appreciated. I am still confused!

If you want most work done for the least amount of time and money, I would suggest you the following:

1.) Get a system going. - If you have a way to get your previous sites up the SERPS by using any system, go ahead and apply that with this blog using people you outsource to.
2.) Get someone who knows the SEO game for quite some time. - Outsourcing your backlinking to people who are just trying to make a side income would generally come up with poorer outcome.
3.) Document everything - Get this: You will not find the right outsourcer at a single sitting. It involves building relationships and getting them the feel of what you want them to do. At the end of each working day, have them submit a work report so you can have baseline data to compare succeeding reports.
4.) If you find a gem, Keep em - Ultimately, you would want to have someone continue doing all the work for you. Give them a raise or an incentive if they do a great job.

    Hope that helped.

If you add enough unique and interesting content and you will see an increase in your rankings, sometimes share volume of content will help increase rankings. Outsourcing can get costly.
