Hi Warriors,

Oh not another FTC rule discussion thread but I just wanted to remind that have you taken the time and
made sure that your sites are in alignment to new FTC Rule?

I think time has already come. I just finished making necessary edits to my sites.

Best Regards,
Mohsin

I'm just wondering, surely the FTC cant expect every webmaster to search forums and stumble upon this new rule, surely a "i didnt know" wont be good enough....just putting the thought out there...

Easier said than done. A lot of gurus are finding out that removing testimonials from there sites will cost them a lot sales.

There is no way around it. If you make $1,000 a day from your sales letter you will lose a boat load of money when you take down your results based testimonials.

I think 99% of them are going to risk it, at least for the first few months or so. The people who are complying are changing their sales letters are the Dual Action Cleansers of the world. They were already on the FTCs sh*t list to begin with. Colonix on other hand didn't do squat.

It's actually a new guide, not a rule. And my sites were in compliance with the new guides before the new guides were published, so I'm all set...

I think it only affects people who use fake testimonials. I kept all my testimonials from my buyers in email. So, it should be alright.

I have double-tested to ensure that my sites follow their new guidelines. But I know of alot of Non-US based marketers who can't be the least bothered about the FTC. Wonder if they are taking a big risk there..

I never had much luck with testimonials anyway, so I didn't have to do much. I think this will be enforced about as much as the "smoking ban" in all bars in my state, which is not at all.
