I think it really depends on the approach. From my experience, testing different strategies and tracking results is the only way to find what actually works.

If your building a list or social media following you need to promote multiple offers to the most from your subscribers

It depends on how much experience you have and what you can manage,if you're new to this,it's better to focus on just one affiliate program,it keeps things simple, helps you track progress, and makes it easier to connect with your audience.Plus,it keeps you from stretching yourself too thin,if you've been doing this for a while, promoting multiple programs could work,as long as you have the right setup, this can bring in more income and give you flexibility, but it also requires good tracking and managing the details, most people should start small and only scale up when they're sure they can handle it without losing quality

It is better to focus on one affiliate program, especially
if it is lucrative like $500+ per sale, but you can expand
with more products/offers if you can focus on multiple
    priorities.

You must assess your ability to focus but if the products
are related, like travel offers, it will be easier to manage
    your multiple efforts.

Do what works for you, not what other people think.

If you build a funnel you can test various affiliate programs and like others have said test what works and what does not work. Then go from there.

Recurring and high ticket are where you are going to make the majority of the money most of the time, but not always. That is why testing is so important. Mix it up, watch your conversion rates, and then go from there to pick your winners + losers to concentrate on long term.

  • It's better to start with one affiliate program so you can stay focused, build trust, and earn consistently. Once you see results, expand into multiple programs to diversify and grow your income.

For example, if you run a Shopify store, begin with the Shopify affiliate program, then add complementary tools like email marketing apps, product research platforms, and ad tools. This way, you create multiple income streams while staying relevant to your audience...

For me I will say you should try to own a Shopify store for your brand, trust, and earn consistently

One income stream is never a good idea.

Yes, it is worth it to earn multiple streams but you need to have a strategy that works for you.

In the beginning, you may not see any results but keep at it till you find a strategy that works for YOU.

I think it's best that you focus on1 skillset so that you can use that skillset to sell your affiliate products. As long as you have a solution you have more leverage to sell

If you haven't make a sale before, my advice would be 100% focus on one

One of my friends made this mistake when he started his online journey, he promoted multiple products at once, and after months of doing so with no results, no sales, he changed his strategy.

Instead of promoting multiple, he put all of his effort into promoting only one, and boom, he make his first sale, and since then, he make a lot of sales.

This is what you should do to

Start with one affiliate product to ensure thorough understanding and effective promotion. As experience grows, gradually add more products.

It's usually better to focus on one affiliate program at a time. This allows you to master the product, build trust with your audience, and optimize your promotions for better results.

I'd say it really depends on your experience and resources. If you're a beginner, it's better to start with one affiliate program to understand the niche, traffic, and analytics. Once you've got it under control, you can try adding a few more -- that way risks are spread out, and you can see what actually works. But jumping into 5-6 programs at once randomly? You'll get confused pretty fast
