I'm looking for a high traffic list of forums that i can market my product on.

    Do a Google search for Forum: Your Niche. In other words, if your niche was skateboarding, you would type Forum: Skateboarding into the search bar.

    Yep, Will is right. Make a search in google something like forum + your niche.

    You can also search with something like :
    your niche + forum script name, for instance,
    your niche phpbb

    Where is a list of forums I can become a member of and contribute my knowledge ?

    Other than that use the suggestion as mentioned above.
