Commission share range

I am a developer and I am about to start some Software As Service (SaS) business. Some marketing experience, but not very much). What would be the recommended commission range for the person I would like to team up with ?
In other words, if the business makes $100 , and you 've spent 1000hr to build the software, how much (%)would you be willing to share with the marketer ?

My problem is time. If I spent my time on marketing, there will be very little left on development.
Does it make sense in your opinion to go with ClickBank, CommissionJunction and alike or you would rather do this on your own ?

A fair range is usually 15 to 30% commission for marketers, depending on their role in generating sales, and yes, platforms like ClickBank can help test demand before building your own marketing setup.

I don't know about your commission structure but
good luck convincing anyone that you spent 1,000
hours developing some software, because an app
can do it in a few minutes, if it's more complex it
might take a couple of days of merging code.

The reason you put your thing on a platform is for
the built-in traffic your own website doesn't have.

Test your strategy yourself to see whether it works,
instead of asking people what they think about it,
because nobody has your same exact product or
    process, everybody is different.

I'd say 25-35% sounds fair for someone handling all marketing. ClickBank and CJ can work, but building your own funnel might give you better control long term.
