INTERNET MARKETING

How important are graphics in a WSO, (or a report/ebook)? I know a picture says a thousand words, but believe I can get my information good enough by just outlining a process in words alone.

Thoughts appreciated, thanks

Use a product box or ecover if you have some. Add some proof to it (like screenshots)
I don't think other graphics are needed.

  I'm biased...but graphics are important too. They aren't AS important as the sales copy, but they are still a piece of the puzzle. I also have a case study on my site that shows one of my clients who tested my graphics on 10 of his sites. These were sites that didn't previously have graphics, or the graphics were very poor. He reported an average of a 14% increase in CTR, with the highest being 41%.
  If you are just launching your product as a wso, I'd say graphics for that are less important than if it was just for the general public. That's just my opinion on that though.

  Ooooh, yes I did misunderstand. For the actual report, normally people put the ecover on the first page. I don't know the stats or anything with that.

  You can add the front face of the ebook cover. It attracts attention and also adds value to your product.

  I think the addition of graphics that explain a certain process within your ebook product are a matter of two things...
  
  1. Will your readers need a visual aid to understand your processes/explanations?
  
  2. Do you feel it will enrich your textual explanations/processes?
  
  If the answer to both is "No", then you probably don't need to include any images or graphics.
  
  If the answer to one or both is "Yes", then you might want to think about including a graphic or two.
