ebay and plr products?

by monitorit 6 replies
I have been looking for a new stream of income and it seems people have a way around plr products and ebooks on ebay. Does anyone here still sell plr on ebay? It seems as you have to send a physical version out on cd with would add to costs. Any views would be appreciated.

This isn't really answering your question, but this is about how I make money selling eBooks on eBay:

check out my "eBook" eBay account, this is Only for eBooks and random things. I have Several other eBay accounts that sell different things. A Fishing eBay account for when I sell all fishing, hunting, and camping items. One for selling all electronic media items, etc. This one is for eBooks for a test I did teaching someone on how to become a Powerseller without doing anything.

    eBay My World - fajeebmedia

The are self written however. My "wholesale source list" is an affiliate product of a couple wholesale and dropship suppliers I have personally used, and I numbered my list from least best to the absolute best. The absolute best is an affiliate link for SaleHoo through Clickbank. I actually get a decent amount of money through CB this way. I make about $100 a week through this alone, which isn't a HUGE amount of money... but the entire process including sending out eBooks is 100% automated. When I first started using this technique, I sent it out to a list of 12,000 people from different eBay accounts that paid me through PayPal. That week my "success rate" was 4% for all 12,000 people, making $48 per sale, resulting in ... well, you do the math. That was the month I took my small vacation.

My second eBook on there is a "How to become an eBay Powerseller" eBook I made just to get my feedback up.

Also, I send out both eBooks using Mozilla Thunderbird, and everybody who buys anything from me now receives my two eBooks. With eBay's rule change that happened about a month or two ago, my eBook sales have plummeted, but still high enough to earn a couple cents per sale (after all fee's), make $100 per week from my affiliate product, and keep this specific eBay account in Powerseller Status (100 sales per month)

Selling PLR ebooks on eBay can be very profitable. But I wouldn't stop at just eBooks. If you find the right PLR supplier you can get great deals on graphics, content and software as well.

Since you're going to have to burn your products to a CD anyway why not add some bonus items with them? That way you might be able to have buyers choose your stuff over competitors not offering bonus items.

What I'd do if I were you is check out which sellers are doing well with what you want to do and then just do what they're doing only add a little extra value and you'll come out miles ahead. Good Luck!

Digital ebooks using classified ads don't sell well on Ebay.

You have to send a physical version out on cd.

If you are a Top rated seller, you can charge high price, otherwise you need to increase your feedback by selling at low prices.

    Good Luck.

yup, I sell my tutorials now on cd instead of pdf downloads. If you use kunaki.com it costs only a few dollars and then about $5-$7 for shipping. Your profit margin is definitely lower but it can still pay off depending on what you sell, your auction listing, and the quantity you sell.
