How can I market my niche??

Hi, I'm not to similar on how to market my niche. My site is a classified ad. I know I can use Google ads for keywords, but how else can I market? I don't find many ways to market with this niche. I was thinking of pop-under traffic, but there is no target traffic for that. I've already submitted to directories. I want to keep my site clean without any link exchange...Any help would be great..Thanks..

    You have a classified ads site?
    You can try to market it on facebook? Lately I have seen quite a couple of ads for people to post their classified ads.

    The other thing you can do is contact forum owners in various niches and ask them if you can advertise in their forum (banners or text links).

    How about website content through a blog? Even months and months after "abandoning" a couple of my blogs, I'm still getting traffic without any effort whatsoever because I'm being found in the organic search results in Google.

    Maybe try writing articles pertaining to the different areas on your site. For instance, you offer a section that allows people to sell stuff. Why not write articles so people how to find used products at great prices. Or write an article showing people a new place they can find jobs. You can also create videos in the same way.

      Thanks for the ideas..

      @RGallowitz , yes my site is a classified site, I get little traffic from facebook from people who post on my site and the repost it on their facebook...I haven't set up a facebook yet, maybe I should.,,,

      @michellegreen, I have a blog set up, when people would post an ad, I would blog about the ad, problem is it wasn't doing well for people. They would read the blog and it was about a posted ad, people weren't really clicking around on my blog, I did it for SEO reason. Now I only blog about site news...
