Free - Use Yahoo Shine to Get Top Google Rankings!

Hello warriors,

I probably shouldn't be sharing this. But most people (including internet marketer's) have no idea that Yahoo has a property called "Yahoo Shine." And what is this little gem? It's a blog that you can post your own articles on!

Now, what's so great about this is Google looks at Yahoo Shine as an authority site. Higher than EZA and higher than Hubpages, Squidoo, and all the other Web 2.0 properties.

Here's proof. The movie "New Moon" just came out. I wanted to reach people interested in the piano music from the movie. I created a blog post titled "New Moon Piano Music" and within 24 hours, had a top 10 listing in Google for that term!

No waiting. No article approval time. None of that. Easy breezy.

I think you need a Yahoo account (it's free) to take advantage of this but it's a small price to pay for this kind of exposure!

  Thank you for this. I am an uber newb at this, and I am trying article marketing for the first time with a product from clickbank. I saw an article on ezinearticles and a lens on squidoo in the top 6 for the keywords I chose. I have to admit I became intimidated at the thought trying to beat them in the listings. I think you just gave me the edge!

I looked in to your yahoo shine idea and i have to say that you definately uncovered a nice little blogging area that does have alot of authority if you post to it. However, it is meant only for women and focuses only on certain topics like parenting, health, beauty, etc. so if you are looking to blog or write articles in areas other than these you might find it a waste of time to write posts and articles here as you will probably get banned very quickly.

Can the articles be the actual post you write on your blog, or is that considered duplicate content, even thought its just in two places, your blog and Shine?

  This should not hinder anyone. Find a female related market and get to work. I see the perfect opportunity for high end hand bags, weight loss, etc.

Lucky for me I am in a female related market Wrote an article as soon as I saw this post, I will continue to drop 1 in there every week probally Ty for this.

Female related yes ... but only for the Yahoo Shine site itself. You can choose where you want to post - on one of the Shine blogs or your own. If it's not female related, choose your own. Google will pick it up regardless.

There are several web 2.0 sites that can kick squidoo, eza, and hubpages right off the front page of google entirely within 1 hour or so ...
