Anyone know how to create good Info Product?

I've heard so many gurus telling me to create my own info product.
I'm hoping that somebody in this forum can tell me how to create a good info product.
I would love to know..

    Hi Nick,

For me, a good info product is something that shares valuable information.

Although there are different target markets..So think about it before you start..

For example, if you're thinking of venturing into the make money market, think first who your target market will be..

The reason is, target markets will appreciate your product differently..Newbies could praise it and advanced marketers may not.

The evaluation whether your info product is good or not really depends on the one reading it..Although that doesn't mean that you don't have to do your best in creating it.

Just create the best info product you can think of for a particular market, I believe if you give your best in creating it, others will see the tremendous effort.

    All the best,

    Omar

    Hi Nicholas

There are a few routes you can take.

Step 1: Go to ClickBank and under Marketplace find a product that interests you, has a great niche (lots of people buying) and lots of traffic.

Step 2: Find out what the best sellers are offering (their bullet points in their Ad Copy's)

Step 3: Go to Guru.com ? Find Freelancers for Hire. Get Your Project Done. and post a job offering to do an interview asking someone questions aboutnthe points everyone else is offering, then make better promises.

Step 4: Copy down all your questions.

Step 5: Call the interviewer and record the conversation. Ask all the questions you need to ask and then more.

    Step 6: Transcribe it.

Step 7: Get someone to put together the e-book for you.

Bada Boom Bada Bing! Your own multi-media info product.

    ________

The other way is to find something you're really passionate about, or an expert in, do market research, create the product yourself and sell that. Takes alot of work however.

    Cheers

    Hi Nicholas,

There are multiple ways to create a good info product. I outlined a few here: How To Create Information Products To Sell Online - Internet Marketing OFFICIAL Strategy Guide

Either process takes a little time, some brainstorming, and some putting things together whether you do written, audio, or a video info product. It isn't hard, but it does take a bit of work ... or, you could outsource it.

Here's a really good way to create your own info product ..

Find a dummies book for your topic and condense all the info into a 45 page ebook, don't copy word for word of course, just condense everything into your own words.

The good thing about using a book like the dummies versions are that everything is laid out in good order for you already.

Then create website and sell some copies and sell the website altogether!

We have twelve on the market that are now selling regularly across 3 different niches - and yes, there have been non-sellers along the way.

Doing really well with your information product depends on...

      1. Tapping into markets where there is a strong desire for an outcome. Premium infoproducts are all backed by a highly emotional desire to solve a problem or have, be or do something strongly desired by the marketplace. There are many ways to find such topics, look at what is selling already on Amazon, Clickbank, CJ, magazine headlines, etc... But what you REALLY have to do is look at the reason why they are selling. What is the problem or desire they are addressing and what promise are they making to the reader? Also - topics with BUZZ around them are good (as long as they are not short-term fads - but are real trends). Here is a good video on how to find those using Amazon: This Feels Like Cheating – Finding Hot Ebook Topics

      2. Coming up with a unique "system" or approach for solving the problem. People often make this more complicated than it needs to be. By organizing questions and answers about a certain topic, you are -- in effect -- creating your own "system" or blueprint to address the challenges they face. Sometimes you can do this from personal experience, other times you dig it up by doing research and still others you can interview experts and bring it out by the types of questions you ask.

      3. Pay attention to the packaging. The same information packaged in two different ways can make a HUGE difference to your profits. If you have a pet training system and put it into an ebook, it may get you $27 per unit sold - and then you compete with hundreds of others. But, if you turn it into a combination report, video and training package you could get $67 or $97 and stand out from the crowd.

      4. Great sales and marketing. Finally - the best infoproduct in the world will not sell without understanding how to market online - how to generate relevant traffic, convert into customers and subscribers, upsell-cross-sell and downsell to close more sales, build an affiliate element to your business so you have an army of people promoting for you...and so on.

Finally - understand this is a process, that you need to get started now and refine as you go rather than have it all understood in the beginning.

          Find a problem.
          Talk about the problem.
Remind people what it would be like without the problem.
Give an answer to the problem.

The most important thing is to make sure you find your market before you create the product. The Internet is full of well written products that nobody wants.

Find the pool of hungry fish before you feed them.

Pick a subject, and make sure its a unique angle that adds value, thats what I do. In the war room you can find an ebook by Allen - the warrior creator, kinda like Davros ;-) - which outlines finding a niche and condensing the info, think its called "private posts".

Just my 2 cents worth. If I was starting out I would create a product based on what you already know instead of trying to re-educate yourself on another topic.

What are you good at, what are your hobbies etc etc.

I didn't really have a hobby but I loved selling stuff on eBay and was pretty good at it. So I created a simple video product showing others how to get started on eBay. (now don't go copying this!!)
I was gobsmacked at the number of people I talked to didn't know anything about eBay. They had heard of it but had no clue how to use it or how to get set up.

This was a small gap in a massive market.

Now its not a fancy pants website promising millions and pictures of exotic locations and fast cars but its a simple down to earth info product.

    Wishing you every success.
