Can the same article be used for different Social sites?

Hi

I had one question -- can i use the same article for two to three different sites??
Say for example i have an article published at ezine -- is it possible to post the exact same article at other sites? - say my own site or say hubpages or squidoo ?

TIA

Yes, you can use your article on as many websites as you want, as long as you own the rights of your content, i.e. you have written the article by yourself or you have bought it with full rights. Although it's not a great thing to do, due to Google Duplicate Content penalties.

Why not spin your original article so that Google thinks it unique? Use Steve Fullman's excellent "Wordpress Unique" software on this WSO - http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...relegated.html You can also take other people's articles and make them unique.

...Or you can use the excellent and free article spinning software at spinprofit dot com (I'm in no way affiliated to the site)

    Or...

You could save yourself a heap of time and re-use the article as it is...

Re-publishing content, otherwise known as syndication, is perfectly fine and should be encouraged.

    hey anuj291,
I see that there are a lot of different opinions on this topic but i have to agree with the people who are saying that if you want to add articles to multiple sites then to spin your articles. If you have long term goals in article marketing than this is definitely the way to go because google wont penalize you for duplicate content and you will give your articles better placement over a longer period of time. There are free places you can accomplish this too so it doesnt have to cost ne thing.
    Cheers

New guy question Im sure - but can you spin an article off of your blog and then submit it?

I see someone mentioned NOT to put the article on your own site, why is that?

      Thanks!

    Hi all
    thanks for all your advice
This is what i had learned till now
    1) You should never use the same article again - google might penalize you -- But then i was not sure if you can post the same content over various Social sites

    2) Better not to use spinners as i personally dont like what they produce - i would rather use an article writing service - or spend 10 to 20 min rewriting the whole thing.

    3) There is no concept that whats on your site cant be used -- but again its preferred that you have something unique for your site and other things(rewritten or other unique articles) for other activities
