Looking for potential Niches using Adwords Keyword tool

Hi!

I am looking for potential niches to work with. I am using the Keyword tool by google (adwords)

Some Keywords I have been investigating, are searched for about 2.000 times per month, 1.500 times.

Is that TOO low for a niche?

Let's say 1.000 people per month are searching for that term. Are there any chances with a good SEO strategy to profit from such niches?

In your opinion, What a amount of searches for a specific term would be good?

    Those numbers should be okay for easily targeted keywords. There really are no hard and fast rules.

    A lot depends on what you are selling though, if your profit is three dollars per item as opposed to $3000 per item.

    Depending on the niche, you should be able to find a good handful of comparably searched keywords as well.

      Hi chewie

      I do not bother with less than 300 monthly. I really want 1500 as a minimum. When I have 5000 monthly with little competetion then I know I am cooking on gas!
