Had a difficult customer yesterday who 'wanted it now, or give me my effing hard-earned money back immediately'.

We are turning so fast to being a 'want it now society'. Are we soon catching up with the speed of light?

Heh, you're right. We're all obviously insane. We should probably have realized something was seriously wrong the first time we told a microwave oven to hurry the **** up.

The scary thing is alot of people think exactly like this, that's why we are in a recession.

This is very common. You have to be clear before hand and strongly refer back to your sites statements.

Here is my trick that works like a charm, tell them they can have it now at a SUPER higher price. Money speaks, they will almost always back down.

Unless you absolutely NEED the money, give the person their money back and block them from ever ordering from you again. Consider this a blessing. He has let you know that he's a pain in @#s.

When I first started out, I would put up with this because I was broke. Now I am not broke (of course I could always use more money) but at the very first sign of difficulty, I cut them off. My shopping cart allows me to block people's IP address - so I do and always feel great about it.

I do have the "the customer is always right" policy. I treat people very farily until they don't treat me well, then I cut them off. Good luck

I am happier, and I make more money now. It's win/win

      Boaterscott,
I do the exact same thing as you. Most of my services go from $50-$300 (majortity in the $50-$75 range) and it just isnt worth the headaches.

I will bend over backwards for any of my clients, even the newbies that ask 20 questions a day. I probably do too much hand holding but it works for me. As soon as their emails start getting nasty though, I give a refund and just block them.

I would just give it back, people like that arent worth the money, for all the stress they cause

Its the pleasure pain principle. Pleasure first and then pain afterwords.

Making pleasure your goal makes pleasure the god - it means that we are controlled and manipulated by anything that has a perceived value of pleasure.

To control the masses offer pleasure - hey presto you have diverted their attention and have them exactly where you want them.

To get to the non-disturbed state of being as they say in the east - face the pain as it is purifying and cleansing and then perpetual pleasure shall encompass you - plus no guilt, as you have already paid for it.

I have a squeeze page where I give away a free lesson. The free lesson is actually VERY useful and then pitches my full product. I got a nasty email from a woman telling me I was "feeding" on people ...Yup, my money back guarantee and free tips are a real threat to their well being.

Some people eh? Want it now .... "feeding" on people with free stuff ... just crazy.
