How I Use Facebook To Generate Traffic To My Blog & Landing Pages

I'm Max K.

I just joined this forum last day when a very experienced internet marketer friend of mine (comment: he just launched his first product with his tribe, he has over 25000+ targeted followers on Twitter and 1000+ on Facebook), told me to.

So, I would like to share something very useful in my very post here.

I would like to share my method I use to generate very targeted traffic to my blogs and landing pages. And the more targeted my traffic is and the better my landing pages are, the more leads I will generate of course.

Quick about me:
I have been doing internet marketing for a few months and I have my landing pages, keywords research, blogs, paypal, aweber, adwords and all those things done.

Why You Wanna Use Facebook For Generating Traffic To Your Blogs & Landing Pages
In my experience so far, on Facebook you can find very targeted traffic if you use the power of Fan Pages.

Now, I don't mean you should create one, but you can find very targeted people using Fan Page, because think about it...

If you are interested in 'dating advice', you will probably sooner or later find David DeAngelo (aka Eben Pagan) and you if like his material you will become a fan of his fan page, but not only that...

You will also find OTHER people that are interested IN THE SAME THING, because they also found him and became a fan of his fan page.

So, this means, any expert's fan page is full of people that are INTERESTED (potentially buyers) in whatever that expert teach.

Since I am selling 'dating advice' myself, I have added people from other dating gurus' fan pages, because I know they would only have become fans if they first were interested in dating advice (otherwise they would'nt have found these gurus in the first place!).

So, using this method I am about to give away, you will be targeting whatever you nisch you want and you can then have links on your Facebook-account that takes them directly to either your landing pages or your blogs in that nisch.

And if you don't at least try this method, you will lose the opportunity to generate alot of regular traffic to your blogs and landing pages.

And not only that, if your landing pages are great and the follow-up letters in Aweber are great and your Sales letters are great, you will be losing HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of dollar, by not getting the FREE TRAFFIC you could be getting from using this simple, easy and fast method.

So, go ahead, read the step-by-step method below and try it out already today for at least one month, and let me know if you have any questions or challenges applying it.

My Step-By-Step Guide To Find Targeted Traffic using Facebook
Step 1. Create a new Facebook-account that will only be used for Internet Marketing (don't create too many, facebook will probably slap you or deactivate all your accounts if you do, so be careful!).

(Comment: I only have 2 facebook-accounts, one for 'dating advice', which is my information product I sell, and one for privacy).

Step 2. Search for the 'experts' in the field you will be nisching and/or selling in.

(Comment: I looked up Carlos Xuma, David DeAngelo (aka Eben Pagan), David Shade, David Wygant and many more).

Step 3. Add them to your friendlist, become a fan of their fan pages.

(Comment: I became a fan to David DeAngelo, David Shade and David Wygant since Carlos Xuma doesn't have a fan page yet).

Step 4. Add all their friends from their Fan Pages and friends lists.

(Comment 1: When I first added 100-200 people I got a warning from Facebook to not add so many that fast, so today I only add 20 new people everyday, this works safely).

(Comment 2: When I add I send them a message that has this structure:

"Hi, [name]!

I think we're interested in the same
thing: [their interest/your nisch]

I'm looking forward to get to know you...

Btw, I have a quick question:

What is your biggest challenges with [their
interest/your nisch] right now as we speak?

I also have a blog that I update regularly:

[your website to your blog]

I'm looking forward to talk more with you, [name]...

/ [your name]"

(Comment: I either use "/ [your name] or "Best Regards, [your name]" as my ending statement in my private message I send them when I add them to my friendlist).

Step 5. I write with them about their challenges they have with [their interest] through inbox.

Step 6. I fix "contact information" on my Facebook-account so they can see my websites to my blog and landing pages and they usually click on those.

Step 7. I repeat adding 20 new very targeted people every day, I update my blog regularly and I update my Facebook-status with related information about [their interest], and I keep writing with the people that has answered my private message I sent them when I added them.

(Comment 1: For example, in the dating world, I might update my Facebook-status with, "Never ask for a woman's phone number, instead give her your cellphone and say, 'give me your number', because women love when men show leadership in conversations!", and the people I have on my Facebook-account just love this kind of information because it is INTERESTING and MEANINGFUL for them, it is targeted information!).

(Comment 2: When I write with people through inbox, I help them with their challenges they have with [their interest] and this creates trust and relationships between them and me, and they usually use the "Like"-button more than others on my Facebook-status updates and they also ask me when my new upcoming eBook is coming since I have started to hype that up before its launch!).

As you know, speed of implementation is key if you want something to happen.

Traffic won't fall down from the sky if you don't apply my method here, I use it everyday because it creates new leads to my Aweber and visitors to my blog.

I have also seen that they discuss my blog at certain dating advice-forums so it means I am getting more broader publicity and I can assure you that has alot of do with adding and connecting with new targeted people at Facebook every single day!

So, get started with this method today, just follow the steps and you will be able to add up to 100 people from scratch that are very specifically targeted for your products and services.

    There's a lot of social networking sites that can generates more traffic,aside of facebook.Try to research for this then try to implement and it really works.

      I agree with much of this, but that is just the beginning. There are so many social networking sites out there now. Have you used ping.fm? It actually allows you to update all of your profiles at once, from Facebook to MySpace to Twitter, to Jaiku (Have you even heard of that one?) to just about anything else.

      I just thought it was appropriate to mention that in this thread. It is a real time saver when you want to get your message out to the targeted audiences you have built on each of these networks.

        Haha I'm glad some of you will actually use this, it is so easy to actually start a new Facebook-account (and yes, be warned; Facebook won't be happy if they find out, so you might want to go with a new name).

        You're right jrazmus, there are alot of Social Networking Sites out there.

        But right now, I experience Facebook is the most personal one, which is also why I really recommend to talking with the people that will respond to your inbox messages.

        Some of those I am still talking with right now, are really excited about my upcoming eBooks regarding dating advice, so "building relationships" is really working and I can see now why it is so DAMN IMPORTANT.

        My friend uses Twitter and he has right now 25 000+ targeted followers and he just launched his first Webinar with his tribe a few weeks ago and they sold to around 10 people in that Webinar (where about 100 people showed up), with a total profit of 2000$.

        He used the same way I did, but for Twitter:

        1. He created a Twitter-account, specific for his nisch (Tribe Mastery for Internet Marketing)

        2. He used Twellow (google it!) and searched for people that had alot of followers (in his particular nisch) and he started follow around 150 people each day.

        (comment: when you follow too many and don't have so many people following you back, you must balance this out before you start following more people, otherwise Twitter will really hate you and also stop you!).

        3. He used Tweetlater (use google) to create auto-messages when people added him, where he directed them to his blog.

        4. Then he gave value through twittering and also retwitted to build relationships with people he followed and followed him back.

        5. He also built relationships using the "send messages"-function.

        But you can write much longer messages through Facebook, and the
        traffic is very much targeted (if you use this method, as an example).

        Right now, I get about 20-40 "views" on my wordpress blog when I create a new blogpost and I have about 70 leads (only 3-5 generated from PPC) that were generated from adding and connecting with targeted people on Facebok.

        Now, I could have gotten more maybe if my landing pages were better so I am working on them to see what will convert more people to leads.

        Btw, I put my blog on "Information" on my Facebook-account
        and I also put Bitly-links there below the text, "My Latest Post:".

        Through this, I can see how many people that links on certain links with certain titles.

    I agree with Karlstedtmax, it is a great strategy. But if you look deeper you will see that you need to use a mix. Even PPc but only if you know what you're doing.

    It all works together, Twitter, Facebook, Blog and anything else you can do.

    If you run around adding people to your friends list from some fan page and send them that "marketing" message (come on many can tell it is not a personal message) then you will also find many that will report it for spam.

    Why not try adding related people and build a relationship with them ? This is a far better strategy and does not look like SpaMarketing.

    I will never understand why so many people never get the "Social Network" thing.. All they want to do is add as many people as they can just to market to them. A social network is not designed to be your marketing platform and thus why so many lose their accounts.

    Be smart about it and build relationships with people and brand yourself...
