confused and underminded!

Hello everyone,

I have been a proud member of this forum for some time now. I know how to make a website / blog and I know how to get traffic to it. I often get discouraged but I know Internet Marketing is what I want to do. Every time I start making a blog I dont know how to set it up IE: show i just make 1 post and do a review on a product and market it that way or should I make a blog about a niche and add frequent posts, products, ads ect. It happens the same way when i try to make a website. My problem is that I just can't seem to get started? I know this sounds weird but I need some encouragement / advice maybe?

Tonight before you go to bed, write down 3 things you want to accomplish the next day.

Read the list 5 times before you go to bed.

As you are falling asleep, repeat the list in your head.

When you get up in the morning, look at your list again.

Do the first thing on your list-- don't do anything else until you are finished.

Then do the second thing on your list - don't do anything else until you are done.

Then do thing number three, finish that.

Then make your list for the next day.

You can do three things, and if you run out of things to do before you run out of time, don't do somehting else -- instead see if you can figure out some way to have done at least one of those three things you have already accomplished better.

Now this is how I finally started to get things done, it may work for you. It usually works for most people I share this with.

It seems to me you just don't know your goals. Until you feel passion for something you will never convince others.

What are you an expert in? What are your hobbies? What turns you on and why? Maybe this is where you should be looking instead of looking for a niche that others recommend.

I completely understand your confusion and frustration

I am there have been there in the past and will be there in the future.

I stopped doing what I was told about a year ago and started websites in subjects that I was interested in. I can't be bothered in all the acne, treadmill, insurance, debt relief stuff.

        This is mindnumbing to me

So I set up web sites in areas I am passionate about and can write about. Because I know what I am talking about I am getting traffic and customers.

I am not sure if urls are alowed in posts so PM me and I can show you one of my top sites.

Do your own thing in an enthusiastic and authentic way.

You need to organize what your content will be about and
develop a table of contents just the same as if you were
writing a book. Those will be your navigation buttons as
well as an outline of which topics will be featured on your
        site.

This should all be done before you start your project. You
can modify as you go along but your basic premise should
be in place when you start developing your websites.

      • Just head to Google get a free blog site and you're on your way, you just have to design it to do what you want.
I have several google sites worth over 10,000 each, but I don't sell on them. If I wanted to I could, but most of the money I make online is in music or selling products I buy from companies and sell on ebay.

I look at it this way, my websites allow people to know who I am, or it builds up some fame for me to make sales, but I don't sell on these sites ever, it allows people to know who I am only.
BUt it builds up my rep.
I do this in press releases also even though I don't give people access to my money making sites. All they have to do is type in my name and they'll pull up over 2 million posts online about me. It works, and it's viral marketing at it's best, because you're not pushing yourself on people.
        I love it.

        There is no 'right' way.

The only 'wrong' way is no doing it.

What's important is that you're addressing a real need that people will want your solution to.

Just writing about 'stuff' won't make you any money, so the technicalities of which way you set up your blog are nothing compared to how you're going to use it to access your market.

Installing a blog is a few clicks on a mouse.

What bit is it that you think you need to know?

Hey, I know the feelin'! What I do is plan to get some particular things done in a days work and I just don't let myself off the hook no matter what. If I can't make myself do anything else I can always advertise or submit a site to the search engines. Starting the day with some quiet meditation helps. ck out www.fhu.com. And no that ain't me! Just tryin' to help. Later Dude.
