Too many product launches

Ok, so with all the stompernet bonus material I'm now getting a TON of product launch info. Now, we all know that EVERYONE can't launch a product at the same time.

Did you buy:

Eben's time mgt. product?
Mass Control?
Rich's coaching program?
Mike's new program?

No. So no comment about the merits of each. Just a general observation... at some point a transition has to take place where aspiring Internet marketers go from being the target market of these offers to being busy building their own business. It doesn't mean tuning out all the offers that are out there, but ones thinking shifts from being someone who mostly buys stuff to someone who starts spending more and more time selling stuff.

Good point. I do like to stay connected to some things. I did get the stompernet deal, but have passed on everything else that has come around since. I do own Mass Control.

        LOL

OK ... So - HOW many product launches should be allowed and HOW often? Is there an arbitrary number to be set? Hmmmm?

You don't have to buy them all or any for that matter. Look, I know a bunch of launches around the same time clutters up the email box a bit, but look at it this way ...

What if it was you that finally gets a product created and YOU want to launch it and EVERYBODY bitches, "Oh Nooooo ... NOT ANOTHER product launch!"

        Delete Delete Delete.

Just part of the deal when you are involved marketing online. ;-)

Just my 3 centz anyway ...

          Actually Rick,

As I see it. All the "big time" IMers seem to ALL be launching something, which brings me to another questions....

Is there a "Launch Season" for internet marketers?

I'm sure they're all great products. I just don't have the time or money for any of these at the moment. I did get all of the emails though!

Yes, it runs January 1 - December 31.

Do you people realize how many products are launched offline every day?

I don't hear many people complaining that too many movies are coming out, or too many CDs or DVDs or books are in the stores.

I count the number of canned emails I get now. Just for fun.

Ok...I agree. We don't get upset about new movies that come out (and I might add that I'm not upset about all the new launches - Jaded, maybe), but as I see it....I wanted ALL the products.

I've not done the math, but I'm guessing that about 10k is what you'd have to invest to get them all. I think a JV between all the top IMers with a massive discount would be a good idea. So, instead of 10k - you could pick it up for $6847.

P.S. - or just wait til it's up on ebay

I feel perfectly comfortable as I don't get any of the launch emails and am not planning to buy any of this stuff

Some of these stuff are great materials, I'll always try to think about a new product launch for at least 3 times before I reach a buying decision.

Sometimes, it's really hard to reject an offer that is almost free.

I bought the StomperNet deal but didn't go for anything else. With the amount of info already in the STSE2 deal I'm affraid I'll die from an info overload if I got any more products. The point is that you will have to actually USE the things you learn. Otherwise you'll only be a (poor) consumer.
