Spam email blacklisting

All of a sudden lots of my email is coming back with the notice "related to IP/domain reputation problems".

After checking I've discovered that this is usually due to being on a spam blacklist. I signed up for a blacklist checking service and it found nothing. But I don't think that's conclusive.

This has me really agitated. I have never spammed and the only way I could get on a list is if a competitor reported me just to cause me trouble.

Does anyone know what can be behind this problem? It would be a great relief to find that it's just a technical glitch or something.

    Wrong assumption!

Here is just one possible situation:

    1. You sell something via ClickBank and the affiliate link your affiliates promote points to a page from YOUR domain name.
    2. An affiliate sends an email promoting YOUR product.
    3. That affiliate's email is reported to a blocklist/blacklist.
    4. YOUR domain name is blacklisted without further notice. According to some major blacklist operators I know (incl. OutBlaze), YOU are responsible for what your affiliates make (even if you don't have a clue on who your affiliates are & anyone can promote your product without your approval - like in ClickBank's case).
