First Sale...Finally!

I know there have been like...100 threads like this, but its my turn!!

After finally leaving the weight loss niche I finally made my first sale.

One thing that I noticed when I was looking at my click bank stats frustrated me a bit though. The site made 1 sale per 100 views which wasnt amazing, but it seemed ok. It did however show that it had a 6% conversion rate. I couldn't figure it out until I looked at a few more stats:

6 order form submits, but only 1 actual sale

Looking around the forum it looks like a number of things could cause this:

Fraudulent Submits
Failed Credit Cards
Incomplete Order Forms

One way or another though its still irritating that the form could have failed 5/6 times.

Anyway though, first sale from article marketing! All of my thanks to the warrior forum and the 11 months of learning it took me to make my first sale!!

First sale is always the hardest. Once you make it, its great motivation for pushing your 2nd 3rd 4th... and so on. Keep it up use that motivation you just got from your first sale to push ahead. Keep it up

I wish that had been true for me. My first sale was easy. Subsequent sales have been a lot harder.

    Congratulations!

You should post how you managed to make this, so other newbies can learn from it

      Thanks!

Actually I think one of the biggest things I learned was from Jeremy Kelsall. Reading through his response to the post here:

How can you make $10,000 a month with article marketing?

Just the idea of using outrageous titles in my articles helped me get a ton more visits. No need for me to explain it here though as its all written over there.

Took my article click through rate from like 4% to 30% + after using some of the stuff from that post.
