Google Content Network question for you all...

Yesterday I set up a content network campaign and I checked it today and the "automatic placements" section isn't full of domains that my ad has appeared on. Typically when I run a content network campaign, that fills up pretty quickly.

I've gotten quite a few clicks/impressions, as you can see in this screenshot:

Is there some setting I forgot to switch on this time, or is it just a matter of waiting longer?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Well, automatic placements are just that...automatic. They also don't stick around.
Your ads will be in a rotating queue with other ads. Your bids will still determine placement, but not WHEN they are live. I've seen this. Sometimes the impressions and clicks suddenly jump and then after a while they go down again.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I'm a little confused what you mean though...
I'm asking why there are no domains showing up under the stats section. Can you please explain better. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding you?

    Thanks

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. You just have to wait. Google says that they give you the stats of the last day, but in my experience it takes a bit longer. So change the stats from "today" 2 days back and you'll see the placements.

      There isn't anything worth showing.

Seriously: Google shows only those domains which are worthy enough to show. This usually depends on quality and total number of impressions (traffic).

If you do not see any domains, it could be because of:
      1) Low bids
      2) Too few keywords
      3) Haphazardly made ad groups

Your ads are being shown on "second class" domains (most likely), or a large number of domains with low traffic/impressions.

Without seeing your campaign, it is hard to give any more specific advice.

      Good luck.
