client log in on wordpress?

I have an offline client who would like me to add individual client log ins. I'm sure this is possible on WP but would love some suggestions and to the best approach... he basically wants clients to access individual pages where he can place documents to download.. so this is NOT a general membership access section... Thanks guys,
Pat

    Let me understand this correctly.

He wants each of his employees to have their own page in a wordpress site where he can place documents for them to download?

It's not about giving each person a login so they can post information?

    Let's try to clarify this!

Clients = his offline clients that eventually visit his web page?

Individual pages = a separate page for every client? or some pages for all the clients?

Access/login = as in "password protected"?

    Sorry for complicating the topic...
    Basically Itsvan has it right.
My offline client, has his own clients.
He want to give them a client log in section,
so that they can retrieve documents that he places there.
So, its individual pages for individual clients. Some of these clients are
direct competitors, so they cannot share the log in/download (password protected) space. Thanks for the responses guys!

OK, in that case this is the closest solution that I know of:

You have to read the post + the comments(!) & implement the code.

I would just create the individual page for each of the clients and 'password protect' each page with a different password.

Then he just gives the url to the clients page and gives them their password.
