How do I stop wordpress category page posting to main page

Hi Everyone,
I am using article autoposter to post to a category page on my wordpress blog, but it posts to my static main page as well, how can I stop it posting to the main page instead of just the category page?

How can I auto post to a single page, category or posts on my blog?

I have seen some solutions to change the main page coding, but am unsure where or what coding to add.
Any solution greatly appreciated.

    Even if I don't know what that "article autoposter" is - definitely you can NOT posts in WP to a certain Page or category archive... unless you
    a) modify the code in your template that display the main/front page
    b) use a plugin like advanced category excluder

    Then you static main page is set to show posts, too.

      Hi Istvan,
      I have PMed you and will try out advanced category excluder.

      I'm fairly sure I would have to change the main page code, but as I mentioned not sure what and where?

        Hi Istvan,
        I installed advanced category excluder and it asks which parts of my site I want to hide, what setting should I enable to stop the posting from a posts category page to my main landing page?

        I just looked at my post categories and pages and I have a post category which is named the same as a page.

        How should I set up my site so I have a landing page, a product sales page and an automatic posting page with external articles?

        Thanks for any help.
