Sending a special discount to the list? good idea?

Hi there,

I'm wondering if you ever thought to send a special offer to your list?

Like 50% on your product for the following 2 days, or for the first 100 to get it?

Any good experiences?

What works better limit it by time ( 2 days) or units? or maybe both?

Does it have a negative side? maybe some users wont buy again in the future expecting new offers?

Any experiences?

It's a very big list

    I prefer limiting by time not units.

    If you limit it by units, if your offer is popular and oversubscribed, you'll wish you hadn't set such a low limit.
