Where should I advertise? I am really confused

Hi,

I know that there is a lot of places to advertise. There are :
  • hubpages
  • squidoo
  • wordpress.com
  • blogger
  • weebly
  • wetpaint
  • my own domain
  • ezine
  • and lots more I think
I was going to advertise on all of the above. But I don't know if it is worth to invest my time advertising in so many places. I don't know if this will help me earn much more or not. Can someone advise please? Thanks in advance

    I wouldn't post your entire article on those but a taster...make people want to actually find out more about what you are talking about, leading them to a certain point which is still handy but making them have to click for the final 4 tips in a run of 7.

    Just don't do it in a way that makes them turn off completely lol

    Place links on every site possible - DON't SPAM.

    Submit to LOTS of article directories.

    You'll want to mix up the content a bit for all of these places, and give yourself a list of some different long tail keyword combinations that you can work to dominate.

    It is not just about advertising and getting the word out. It is a double opportunity to build backlinks to your primary site.

    You are planning to funnel this traffic to your own site (I hope)

    Not sure what you mean by "advertise", are you talking about actually paying for advert placement on those sites, or are you talking about driving traffic and links through creating content on those sites?

    Advertise where your target market is most likely to be. If you sell toys, advertise on parent and kid-friendly sites and ezines. Tires? Car sites. Furniture? Home decor sites. I think you get the idea. Determine where your target market is going and go stand in their path with your ad.

    Hmmm. I think didn't give much info. :s Here is what I actually mean:

    I am promoting a clickbank product. It is my first try .

    My Questions:

    1. Do I need to post everywhere(refer to my first post) or should I just get my own website with my own domain name and some blogs?

    2. Can I promote many products at the same time or should I just stick to one until I get a decent amount of cash?

    3. Should I link my resources,ie, if someone is reading a blog of mine, must there be a link redirecting to my other blogs and websites? Or, should I just make it as if it they are not connected?

    4. Will my own website be "BETTER" than a squidoo or just "better"? Or will that be the same?
