"Google Voice" Anyone?...

Hey fellow friends and warriors

I came across this https://www.google.com/voice

and it looks awesome!

..and it looks awesome...I wonder if this may go ahead against skype?...am a heavy user of skype and especially their online services and numbers...give me a great deal of means of communication and help for people I teach online...

I'm kinda gutted its invite only...have any warriors got successfully into this?...if so would love to hear your experience...and would even love it better if someone can be kind enough to share an invite?

I believe that although it states it's by invite this is no longer the case. If you put in your information one warrior said he received notification about 6 days later to use the service.

I have been using google voice for awhile now. Mostly I use it as a second phone number when I don't trust someone haha. It is very nice though.

  It's not easy to get into right now. It's invitation only. I put in a request to Google more than 4 weeks ago, but I've heard nothing. If others have an invite, they can distribute those to friends, associates, etc. The number from Google is free.
