ebooks on ebay...

I was just wondering if one could be successful selling ebooks on their niches in places like Ebay without setting up some kind of website for it or landing page? Do people really buy ebooks?

    Ebay is a good place to sell anything (plenty of buyers). Ebay no longer allows digital delivery of ebooks but you can still sell ebooks if you are prepared to burn them to a cdrom. A lot of resaleable ebooks have terms in the license that does not allow them to be offered for sale on ebay, but if you have created your own ebooks then that is obviously not a problem.

      I was aware of the rule regarding digital delivery, but I have still received a few that way. For some reason, I didn't see this as a problem and figured they were somehow exempt.

      I think most of my problem was that when I think of "digital goods", I think in terms of gold and items from online games being sold.

      Wow, I did not know that. It seems a lot of these venues where we sell our products are getting more and more picky on how we sell our products. It's a shame that the ones that abuse the system make it hard for the rest of us.

        In a way it has been good - it cleared away a lot of the 1 cent ebook sellers.

    Number one thing you no longer allowed to sell digital ebooks on eBay. It is very hard to sell ebook to make living, I have sold ebooks in the past ONLY to build lists not to make money.


    Why do you try it because it will only cost you few dollars in listing fees?

    Not much income from ebooks on ebay except you wish to use it to build mailing list. But of cos, if you have unique ebook written by yourself on a good subject and you dont have too many competitors or replicas; then you should be laughing to the bank
