INTERNET MARKETING

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a image in wordpress a clickable link so it opens up an email automatically to email whoever is in the email html code.

In wordpress it only allows you to put in a URL link and not a Email link.

Any advice would be helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.

Have you tried to just paste the email address in the url box? I'm sure when it's active it will work.

If you can paste HTML code into the area, the mailto code might worth a try. Not done it so hope it will work.

<a href="mailto:fred.smith@fred_smith.com">Email Fred Smith</a>

Hopefully will result the link below when clicked should opened up your Outlook or whatever and addressed to fred.smith@fred_smith.com

  Yes, thank you for that code. That is not really what I am wanting. I don't want the words "click here" or anything like that. I want to be able to have picture to be a clickable email link.

Just change the link to an image instead of text:

<a href="mailto:fred.smith@fred_smith.com"><img src=http://yourdomain.com/image.gif></a>

Let me know if that doesn't work.
