what should i put on my homepage (index) my blog, my opt in, or my sales page?

The ultimate goal of course is to get them to my sales page and make a sale, but what is the best process for this?

    I'd keep the homepage quite short. Outline the basic idea and leave plenty of links to the sales page. Good luck

    Thank you this is a good question.

    It depends on your advertising method.
    if you are using a traffic exchange to drive visitors then you need to use an optin squeeze page. sales letters don't work too well in traffic exchanges. so offer a free report or something that causes them to want to stay and opt in . then you could have your autoresponder message include a link to your sales page after they confirmed signing up.

    if your driving traffic organically i.e. through ser's then you direct them directly to the sales page.i.e. your index.php or html page

    Seo has really nothing to do with the methods used seo is for serps and it is very minor the best way to obtain serp's high rank is to have constantly updated content and mega backlinks this shows popularity and thus gives you a higher rank at least on Google.

      by traffic exchanges you mean adwords or payed traffic right?

      yeah it will probably mostly payed traffic to start out with...

      so the optin page is probably the best way to go for my home page?

      and then put my blog in a different directory for seo in the future

    I would without a doubt keep the homepage short and put an optin form on it. If you are able to do so, what works best for me is to put an audio that play automatically and tells them about three times to put their name and email in the box to get your special ...... you want to build your list as fast as you can, and then you will make sales!!
