Email Address Required to Read Article

I've noticed lately that quite a few sites I visit on a regular basis are requiring an email address before giving access to articles. Are there scripts available that do this? If so, where are they?

Or does this sort of thing require the use of some kind of content management software?

I use Email Marketing Software, Email Newsletters and Autoresponders by AWeber to do this.

There are other services around, but aweber is great.
