Somebody please kick start me into gear!

Dear Warrior Members,

Ok......Can someone help me figure out how I can make even just a few hundred dollars extra each month (more is nice too) ASAP. I don't have any extra money to spend on this, but need this money ASAP.

The reason for my desperation is because things are happening one right after the other with me and my family and all of it takes money unfortunately.

I am currently working on my own IM project right now, but that is not gonna get me the money when I need it at this moment. I just wanted to know if someone out there knew of anything that could help me bring in something quick (other than PTC, surveys and stuff like that). Thanks

    Freelance your time.

    Writing (can be articles for others or blog posts, auto-responder followups...), submitting, designing, proof reading, answering emails, support...

    Trading your time like a job, is probably the fastest way to come up with Internet cash.

    Can you list out your strengths, weaknesses, maybe what your IM project is or at least how far along it is? That might help others give you some better advice. Even things you've tried before, etc?

    The more info the better, as it will improve the quality of your replies..

      Well, I'm in the beginning stages of my project.....I'm currently working on trying to find a niche that suits me and I feel confident that I know enough about to promote in affiliate marketing.

      I don't know about writing. I've never written for anyone before. I suppose you have to be somewhat good at that. I have done transcription before, but I suppose everybody can type now or days huh? Doesn't sound like I have a whole lot of talent. Hope this helps.

        I can tell from your two posts in this thread that you can write.

        Do you per chance have a domain name, hosting, ability to upload sites or anything? Just asking because these are decent assets. I know you said spending no money, but i wasn't sure if these were already things you had.

        Not really. Lots of people cannot spell, even more cannot put together a sentence that makes sense - so, you are ahead of them!

        Hi Susanna,

        I freelance, and the number of people looking for freelance work in the US is growing like mushrooms in a damp, dark forest due to increasing unemployment and underemployment. Unfortunately, you're not alone in your situation...BUT...having said that, there are things you can do.

        If you want to freelance, here's my 2 cents:
        • Your first and ongoing job is going to be researching how to get freelance gigs (become an expert at searching on Google);
        • There IS a market for transcribers, so see how other freelance transcribers market themselves (do the same with writers, if you decide you want to write);
        • Get some experience freelancing ASAP to get your feet wet (low ball your price, or do one or two jobs for free to get testimonials - BUT raise your prices after that, or you'll burn out and starve);
        • Do searches several times a day here on the WF for people asking to find transcribers; OR
        • Spend $20 & put up a Warrior Classified as a transcriber (don't do a WSO, they dissappear from the first page too fast); OR
        • Join the freelance sites (elance.com, rent-a-coder.com, odesk.com, guru.com);
        • If you really want to freelance, learn how to think like a self-employed business person; otherwise, look for a job working for someone else, or use a temp agency for assignments. All are viable options. It just helps to know your goals so that you don't waste your own time.

        I've been freelance writing for about a year, and I'm still learning the business end of it -- being a freelancer is like standing on shifting sands, but if you love being self-employed (like I've been for almost 20 years) you learn how to go with the flow.

        If freelancing is not for you, the fastest way to make cash is to find home health care work in your city. There is no shortage of aging or disabled people in this country who need help, and there is a shortage of reliable home health care providers.

        Hope these ideas help, and good luck!

          Here's another idea:
          You don't even have to come up with all the stuff you write yourself.

          * Do a search on Google for a pack of free PLR articles, download it, and rewrite the articles in your own words. You don't necessarily need to be an expert on the subject. Read it, grasp the idea, then rewrite it. (I'd suggest anything in the health/weight loss niche).
          * Start up a free blogger blog, and use the article you just rewrote as your content.
          * Sign up for a free Clickbank account.
          * Find a product related to your article topic on the Clickbank marketplace and get a hoplink. Use this link within your blog (not too many times, though, 2 or 3 is enough).
          * Rewrite another article from the PLR pack (similar topic).
          * Join Ezine Articles. Submit the article you just rewrote and use the link from your blog, NOT your hoplink, in your resource box.
          * Rinse and repeat. Submit some more rewritten articles to EZA with the same blog link in your signature. The more articles you write, the better!

          All of the above are absolutely free to do. It just takes some of your time. If any of what I said is confusing you (I'm not sure if you're a newbie or not) just send me a PM and I'll explain things a bit more for you. I'll even send you some PLR that I have for you to rewrite if you like.

    Personally the best thing that has worked for me is to start building a list. I was so lazy at the beginning and never realized how important writing articles was. If you have basic skills to build a website, then add an autoresponder, write some articles, YOU WILL get traffic and then you can start making some $$$

      Wait for it....wait for it....

      Just kidding. I am just trying to get as much info as possible so everyone can help you, as the questions I asked are usually asked anyway.

      If you decide to go the writing route, having a website is good as it is a place to showcase your talent or sell your services. Having a paypal account is important too(or some form of accepting payment)

      I am not a writer, and to be honest I hate it, but there always seems to be a need. Search around and find a niche that is popular, write some unique content, advertise it in your sig and put it up for sale on your site. Then Generate some really high quality new stuff and take the first $20 and do a WSO to help generate more cash and help make a name for yourself.

      After a while you, if you have good quality(and reliable service) you should have no problem generating the amount of money you mentioned.

      But again, I am not a writer, so I am speaking out of the side of my mouth a bit. I am sure it is not that easy...but it doesn't cost anything to get started!

    This reminds me of what I think would a great service for internet marketers. Someone who will call you every day and not even deal with the technical aspect, but just to tell you to get to work and to talk about what you have to do today and kind of act like a boss would, telling you need to accomplish this and that and the other (of course you would actually provide him/her with the tasks you need to accomplish the previous day).

    I know, sounds a little wacky, but I think it would help some.

    I would say that Keith's advice above is the best right now. Start finding other freelance writers and look at how they have their sites set up and look through some of their samples to get an idea.

    Hello Suzanne,
    I am launching a new site in the next couple of weeks, combining an offline business with internet marketing technology. I am looking for a few people to promote my site. I am paying $50.00 for each sign up. PM me if you are interested and I will give you more details and/or phone to discuss. All you have to do is direct prospects to my site, if they sign up $50 per signup.

    When I tried out writing I was getting paid $15 an article.
    It was good money, I just really didn't like it. But you might.
    I would look into writing for sure, I wish you luck.

    There's a lot of options in IM as mentioned above.Those are good ideas but yes, you have to wet your feet and don't expect that money will show up rightaway in your door the next morning...You must be mentally prepared as well.Goodluck my dear!

    Susanna Dodd,

    My first product of 2010 deals with a step by step of starting from scratch, Getting paid to build a list , and using full blown content marketing to promote your own products or affiliate products .

    I even show you how to set up your own product from idea to published creation .

    Basically it is step from step how I decide what niche to enter , pick a product or set my own up, market the product, .... everything I do to make a project work for me .

    The completed product is from 5 to 7 days out .

    I am not looking for testimonials .

    I am not offering free products to get testimonials .

    I will not even ask you for an email address.

    This offer is to you only .

    I will give you the first copy . Yours to use .

    All I require is for you to use it . Follow the step by step.

    Every thing is set up to use 100% free resources . This will cost you no money what so ever .

    I do suggest for immediate funds to offer services as suggested in previous post .

    My system is not an over night wonder . it is a long term business model that will take some time to implement .

    I expect not as much as a thank you in return. All I ask is if you request the info ... you do not let it gather dust .

    Pm me if you are interested .
