Is .90% Conversion Rate = Good or Bad?

I saw this CR on a product and I was like wow! It has an A- grading in conversions. But does this "decimal and percent sign" mean that out of 100 people 90 are going to buy that product or out of 100 9 are going to buy that product?

  • 90% of 100 = 90
    9% of 100 = 9
    0.9% of 100 = 0.9 (less than one in 100)

    So, based on the info you've give... around 1 in a hundred buy.

    • Depends on the source of the traffic, but it's about 1 sale every 110 ish visitors. I'd say that's ok.
