What are ways to "scale it up"

"Scale it up", I see this term thrown around alot in the forum. I made my first sale from a site that i setup about 2 weeks ago. I want to "scale this up", as everyone else says. How would I go about doing this? Thanks ahead of time.

I forgot to add, I haven't used an auto responder or anything, just some good old SEO, a few articles, and natural looking review site.

just keep doing what you have done. start working on setting up the auto responder, that is a great way to scale up quickly.

If you can afford it, start working on outsourcing. pay others to do things for you, then you can focus on building more sites and getting more streams of income going.

      Hey JM,
Thanks for the advice. I was planning on setting up autoresponder. Now should I focus on driving links, writing articles, building a list for that specific site now, or should i do the same thing that I did for that site for other sites right now? I think my question is kind of two-fold, do i spread out or focus on the once niche for now? Sorry If Im being confusing. Thanks everyone, excellent resource this forum is!

Just keep up the good work start outsourcing your work and multiply your sites content ect.. Yeah you will want to get a autoresponder, don't get me wrong you still can get good results without a autoresponder but you can have even better results with a autoresponder.

Yes the money is in the list "I know we all have heard that before" but this is 100% true and keeps proving itself time and time again. Here is a perfect example for you. I have a friend that has a list of around 4000 and I told him about the mass ppv launch and then gave him the link to their JV page, oh yeah my friend is also a MLMer. So he signed up and got his clickbank hop link and used one of the emails they provided and blasted it to his list. I was talking to him on skype and about a hour later he checked his clickbank account and he had made over $500, I know this is not that impressive but still $500 a day beats any day job with a copy and paste email that took 5 min to send, this is the power of having a list.

Yeah your right man. I have just always been lazy about list building, I guess Im leaving alot of money on the table without one. Guess I 'll reactivate that aweber account again!

You think I should focus on this one site, or continue building/promoting others at the same time. Im trying to stay focused and not try to be "all things to all people"

Stick to the one site/niche for now. Focus is powerful - more powerful than many realize. Getting one sale on the new site (and congrats on that ) is the time to ramp up THAT site, not jump to another.

Money you make from the first sales is "seed money." You can put time and/or money into business. But - they don't have to be yours. Scale it up by using using others time in exchange for your money. That is the only way to - really - scale anything up.

As mentioned by others, setting up an auto-responder is a good idea. You want to offer something of value to people - and be sure to set up somewhere in the series a question about their specific needs and offer a bonus for those who answer. (That way, you can figure out what people really have issues with, and create a way to deliver it)

Excellent advice, and thanks for the congrats! I have a plr ebook I'm going to add as a bonus for signing up for my email list, like a 56 page book or something. I'm actually going to promote a similar product from a different vendor and see how that works. I like the idea of focusing on one niche right now, making it work, then moving on once I build a suitable base and/or authority. I'm in it for the long haul, and I think the most successful feel the same way. The overnight successes, few and far between.

It great you had some quick success, took me several months to get my first sale. just keep doing what you are doing already. build up one niche until you get good rankings on all your pages, and make a consistent income from that site. Once you get a site bringing in around $100/week consistently, then consider starting a new site.

I actually had started about ten sites the past month and a half, but I have been very distracted. Just sheer information overload by reading alot of stuff, but think that focus is the best way to go. Like you said, one site at a time, get it big and ranking, then move on to the next.

When I started, I set up 5 sites in a week. that was easy. getting consistent traffic to all those sites was the hard part. Finally, I had to step back and focus on one until it started making money, then went to the next one.

Now, I am not making loads of money, but at least I am not looking for a job. I make enough to make ends meet, and usually have a little extra to put back into my business. Currently working on scaling up my own sites, adding more content, driving more traffic, and helping more people.
