Offliners- What CRM System do you use?

Hi Offliners

I'm looking to do some telemarketing sales to offline businesses and am curious to know what CRM system you use.

My core needs:
-import a lead list via excel (should be simple)
-create lists or groups using filters within the CRM: for example, create a "list" within the CRM of all the contacts that are industry:bookkeeper, city:losangeles, source:craigsl ist.com (as noted on each contact record)
-once a list is created, create a "to-do" or "activity" for each of those contacts on the list that will be an initial call. Therefore, every one that was on that list will now have a "call" scheduled for a specific date (all dates the same) on their record
-then I would go through my "to-do's" for the day and see that i have X # of calls to today to leads a,b,c,d,etc.
-as I proceed through these calls, I could schedule additional followup acitivites on each record based on how the call goes.

This is basic CRM stuff, but I'd like to know what warriors recommend.

My options right now are
-vTiger: free but runs slow online and is a bit lacking on the quick-start-intuitive side
-RedHorse: I have access to this software through a family member in the software sales industry. BUT I'm afraid that it will cause lagging problems on my netbook. I try not too install too much software on my laptop and I'm under the impression that this CRM uses lots of bandwith on the laptop.
-anything else you recommend I'm willing to try = )

Looking forward to your response

Jon
