Best way to make money online without working every day?

Hi!

There are so many ways to make money online, and the different methods require different time investment. Some require that you work many hours per day, and some require just a couple of hours per day. But what about those who go to school, or have a regular job? What about those who don't have the time to work with this on the weekdays, but only has the opportunity to work with their internet business in the weekends? Are there any methods that meets this criteria?

I would be very glad if someone could give me a couple of ideas for making money online, that you only need to work with in the weekends.

Thank you.

I would say that the methods are the same ... you just have less time to do it. You could outsource a lot of tasks to get more done in a smaller amount of time.

I agree -- breaking up the tasks and outsourcing mundane tasks will help a great deal.

I think anything if possible, you just need to know exactly what you need to achieve in those few hours. Like you could create short reports that sell for $7 and create a list of buyers.

Or audio products (like an interview) can be created in a couple of hours.

You could set up a squeeze page and sale funnel week one and then start promoting your list in week two.

With a system in place you can spend those few hours on traffic generation and writing emails to put in your autoresponder.

The key is obviously patience and seeing if you can divide your to-do list into tasks in order of a) priority and b) how much time they take to create. If you have a job that takes 10 mins to do (eg. blog commenting) I'm sure you might fit in a weekday aswell.

    Good luck!

Well, first, think of that one thing you're good at -- copywriting, article writing, sales, etc. Then browse through outsourcing sites. That should get you started.

Of course you don't expect money to be just pouring in, you have to exert some effort too. Though if you did find something that could do that, lemme know! hehe...

There's really no getting around hard work and putting in the hours initially. As you become accustomed you can outsource things, which has been already mentioned.

A book came out a few years back called something similar to the "4 hour work week". Everyone touted it for a while calling it the only way to be. People fail to notice or mention that in order for the author to get to the point where he only put in 4 hours per week working, he had to set up his systems and outsourcing for over 90 hour per week for a very long time in order to get there.

Long story short: Put in the hard hours now and eventually the fruits of your labor will pay off. Like the tortoise and the hare, get me?!

There really isn't any shortcuts, just tools.

    Luck to you!

I think there are some ways. But those are not good at all, you'd better work hard and earn money. Then only you understand the value of money. And don't think of shortcuts.

If you are only working weekends, you may need to make more of a financial investment to get your business up and running. Consistency is the key, so if you are working fewer hours yourself, then create some leverage by outsourcing or using paid advertising that will work for you during the week.

The best way I found to make money online without working every day is to hold a class around a topic you're passionate about. Record it and have affiliates who have access to your ideal clients sell it non-stop.

I'm into generating a bunch of money while making the product so I suggest you listen in on a free teleclass I'm teaching with Internet Marketer Michael Penland (see the link in my signature). Hope that helps.

I love people who want to work smart (not hard), the lazy and leveraged way!

When you enter into IM field you can't find ways to earn money without working. You sound funny when you ask money without working "everyday"!!!

IM is the best way of earning money with less inputs. But you need to strive hard initially in this field to establish yourself as a legitimate IM'er. Even for making money with little efforts, you need time to investigate, analyze and choose the best way my mate.

I believe there is no way to make money without working. In case you find any, as "Hanako" said please lemme know

The best way is to find some free method that works for yourself with hard work. After that, just outsource it and you can watch your profits increase many times over. The only key is finding a good, reliable outsourcer which would likely take a month or more.

SEO is a good choice. Once you do the hard work to get to the top, you can outsource the ways to keep you there as if you are in #1 position for a competitive keyword, you can do really well.

I would say the most auto-pilot form of MMO is web hosting.

Yes, you have to do work at first. But once its all up and running, you can automate almost every process of it.

What kind of web hosting are you talking about? Having your own servers, or advertising on your site for a web hosting service? Sorry I'm brand new to the IM scene, and internet business all together. I'm looking for something I can work at for a while and then automate everything to make a residual income. Thanks!

Work smart. Hard work alone will either not make you rich at all, or make it a lot harder than it has to be. Either way, you still need to work. Luck and work are the only ways to make enough money that you don't have to worry about it either way, and only one of them is something you have any control over.

And if you don't have a lot of time, I suggest you save a few hundred dollars and pay people to do the work you can't easily do yourself. That's different for different people. For example, I can do my own web design and programming but hate writing, so I'd pay someone to write the content. Some people are writing demons and can cough up a couple dozen high quality articles in a few hours. Eventually you'll want to reach a point where you're paying people to deal with every aspect of your business and all you have to do is check up on them once in a while and cut them checks for their work.

IM is like anything else, you get out what you put in. The key I've found is making the most of your time, if you have a clear plan to follow you can spend less time worrying and more time DOING.... ((Check signature for a shameless plug)) ; )

My suggestion is you go to clickbank and become an affiliate. They're just a nobrainer approach to making money online. They pay ever 2 weeks by sending you a check in the mail. Watch a few youtube videos on how to use clickbank and you'll quickly learn how it all works as an affliate. Then you can start to promote their products. I've been making money with them since 2000 like clockwork.

Hmm... I think you need to change your mindset quickly.

Why wouldn't you want to work? There is a difference in working in your business and working on your business, but this is still work.

If you were asking about the first (I mean working "in" your business), then I have one word: outsource

If you were asking for the second (I mean working "on" your business), this never stops.

    Best,
    Franck

Well, if you're not willing to outsource, then you have to go the paid advertising route. While PPC(especially) and PPV may be time consuming to set up, once you have the campaigns up and running profitably, there's really not much for you to do afterwards but to check on stats from time to time, and increase your ad spends when you can afford it! You still have to put in the work initially, but once you hit a few good campaigns you can pretty much let it cruise on while doing very little additional work.

In my opinion there are two ways to create automated income streams and continue to make money online without any additional work (beyond your initial time invested).

      1) List Building
      2) Affiliate Marketing

I would recommend creating keyword targeted websites that are related to a specific information product that you can promote as an affiliate. If you can rank for that keyword on Google then you can continue to make money month after month.

Make sure to build a list with the traffic that is generated. This will allow you to market related offers to your subscribers.

Once this is set up you will continue to profit from free traffic from Google and your list for years to come.

I think you might misunderstood me a little here. I didn't say that I don't want to work. Of course I am willing to work, and I know that it pays off. I was just wondering if there was some kind of business model, that you could use, if you only had the time to work in the weekends. E.g if you go to school.

You can do MLM and buy leads --> that's something I don't do but I know it works.

Or you can write articles, send people to a squeeze page, and capture emails...then you can set up an autoresponder series which will send your list emails over a period of time.

You can then use the weekends to write articles, monitor your list, and write messages in your auto responder to promote products on the back end. This is the easiest way to make money online, but takes time.

Hi, First Up Work out exactly how much time you would actually be prepared to invest in the weekend,
I would even suggest mapping out you week on a chart and break it into 1 hour slots
Then have a look and find the time: that your not doing stuff
If you watch a lot of TV - theres some time!
IF you are prepared to put in around 10-15 hours work per week
you will make it in any online business, a small daily effort 15-30 mins with a big weekend push would work well doing Internet marketing
Remember You want the extra money so you can do the things you really want
This means making sure you have some time Booked out too Enjoy Life FIRST
If You don't know what you want you wont get it
    Have a Great Week

    I'll tell you..

There is no such thing as an easy way to make money quickly without putting in efforts!

Making money online isn't a "get rich quick scheme" to earn money by just lazying around.

You need to be realistic in your vision. What is it that that you want to accomplish?

What is it that drives you to make money online?

Have you even thought about what is your biggest strength? Work on it. Figure out what you're best at. Once you've done that, figure out whether people REALLY want people like you who are BEST at XYZ things to help them out. You need to know whether there is a STRONG demand for the product / service you can BEST offer to the market. That's exactly how you find a niche.

And hey, you pick a niche not because there is just a demand. It's because you love it. You're passionate about it. You know you can scale up quickly if you put in your time and efforts passionately. When you're passionate about a niche, you will grow STEADILY. It's got to be FUN. You must be able to enjoy every moment of it whether its a climax (peak) or a struggle (downtrend).

Once you pick a niche, stick with it. Find ways to learn IM. Find a product idea or a service idea within that niche. Can you write ebooks? Can you develop videos? Can you start a self-hosted wordpress blog? Can you write articles? Do you've enough money to hire other people or you can do some of it by your self?

Answer all these questions before you even start working. If you take these questions for granted, I guarantee you will fail. Nothing short but you will keep asking the same questions. How do I make money online?

Can you become the bridge between pain & pleasure of other fellow human beings? If the answer is a confident YES, you will succeed.

So, what do you wish to accomplish in your life? What you want to be known as? What do you wish to become in your own life? What is the goal and purpose of your life? How will you make your life more meaningful each day as it comes?

What is your biggest gift that you've and others don't? That's exactly what you require to focus on. Work around it and make a life. Not just money, but a lifestyle.

Look, if it was so easy for people to make money online then everyone would be millionaires within a week. It wouldn't take them months to execute a plan to make a million dollars. If it was so easy like writing X, Y & Z; then definitely I would be the first person to go ahead and do it.

The truth is life isn't difficult or easy; you've to make GREAT KARMA = EFFORTS. TAKE ACTION = SUCCESS.

There has to be STRONG DESIRE to become what you dream of every day. That's how you start making money online.

I have a lot of ways for you to make money online. None of them are get rich quick. Either you do the work your self or hire someone else to put in the man hours & expertise for you at a price you can pay. That's how most successful marketers have succeeded online. Outsourcing is the way to go if you've the moolah to hire experts working on your behalf and delivering results. After all, you can't be doing all by yourself. You WILL have to outsource.

I can show you ways to make money online if you've the moolah = $$$$$. You will have to invest an amount but that's only if you're willing to.

If you've any questions, I'll be glad to answer. Email me or PM me for further questions. Happy New Year 2010 in advance to all warriors!

The key like others before me have said is to set up a system and outsource the tasks that can be outsourced. Read the "4 hour work week" by Tim Ferriss. Realize that getting your system in place and running smoothly is hardwork, but once that is set up you will reap the rewards of it.

I don't believe there are any short cuts. In the beginning, you'll need to work at your business every day, especially if you don't have a lot or any "seed money."

As you get more successful, you can start trading money for time, where you end up spending less time working and more time doing other things.
