10,000 Twitter Followers in 39 days

For the last 3 months I've been obsessed with twitter and not so much in a quality interaction way, more in a competitive how can I get more followers than my buddies way. So I have developed a fool proof method for getting 10,000 twitter followers in 39 days (the first 2,000 only take 2 days). It will work for any twitter account and should work well beyond just 10,000 growing followers at 5-6% of your total followers a day.

The cool thing about getting alot of followers, is it seems to give you more clout and more people want to follow you just because others are. At the end of the day isn't sales and marketing a numbers game? Just cause you're getting tons of followers doesn't mean they're not high quality and you can't interact either. Also, twitter won't ban you for this (unless you're spamming people and then you're on your own).

What I'm trying to figure out is if there's a demand for this... right now it takes about $30 and 30 minutes of work and then everything is auto pilot. But are people willing to pay that, what's the demand like for this? I can easily prove the method works without giving away the secret sauce too. Thoughts? Suggestions? How can I monetize my secret!?

I am sure that they are. I would be. Twitter is a foreign language to me. Do you have a basic website that I could see?

I think the sticking point here would be whether those followers convert. Do they result in lots of visitors when you tweet a link? Do these visitors click and convert?

And can you make money with ad.ly or some similar twitter ad service?

I would say those are the main questions to be answered, at least from a IM standpoint.

No, nothing yet, just trying to figure out if the demand is there.

These are regular twitter users, however, I would assume the conversion would be slightly lower... but that's easily made up for and more due to quantity and the clout you receive from your twitter accounts perceived popularity.

It's kind of a combo approach. Add people like crazy and max out your daily. Go on twellow and find people in your niche so your targeting the right people that are going to be interested in you to. Try and tweet about 2 times a day if not a bit more. You will be surprised how many people you get to follow you just because your an active twitter user.

That definitely works, but it would take you much longer to get 10,000 followers. Also, that takes alot of time to go through twellow and manually add those users.

        To the OP interesting post.

I notice the first 1000 followers were tough to get. After that an occasional post every few weeks brought it up to around 1500. The irony is it is a bunch of IMers promoting their goods!

Depending on who the followers were, that would be a pretty attractive proposition.

I guess people will pay for your service, but I think $30 is too high, maybe you can charge $15 to get more orders, is 30 minutes the total time or the daily time that need to put to work?

I agree that the followers should be targeted.

Have you tried combining this with some kind of offer and seeing how they covert? I would be interested in this if it will make me money and not for the sake of the number of followers alone.

I think the price is okay and, if it works, there is a market for your method as long as it doesn't require you to follow a bunch of people hoping that they will auto-follow you back.

I use twitter a ton on my radio show. Whenever I see somebody who has 10,000 followers, but who is also following 10,000 other people I feel like they are just trying to get as many followers as possible.

On the other hand, when I see someone who has 10,000 followers, but they are only following 40 or 50 people I think, "Wow, this person must have something to say that is worth listening to!"

Targeted followers is best. Also, here are two other things I have found REALLY help:

      1) Answering questions and reply to people who write you
      2) Having your TWEETS Re-Tweeeted!

Every so often I will run a 'Tweepstakes!' I offer a prize for the 100th person who "Retweets" my message. I also include a photo of the item I am giving away. That really seems to help get the numbers up!

Well i have seen similar programs that can get you 30,000 followers in 60 days but the conversion and response are not good.

        For example:

I have an account i used for a system i paid for about 10 months ago

        I have 47,000 followers

when i post a link i usually get maybe 10-15 people clicking the link.

Now i have another account which is one of my main accounts with only a little over 4000 followers

I can post a link there and get 10-40 clicks depending on the time of day.

Plus i have made some pretty good sales off of my main account.

The other account with 47,000 never made nothing.

I think targeting your followers is a major thing and if this program you have doesnt concentrate on that, then it really isnt worth a penny in my book. I dont pay for junk.

          Not necessarily the case.

It depends on what you want to use that twitter account for. You may not mind following back everyone who follows you if you are looking to use Twitter just for branding purposes. If that is the case, you may want to try following as many people as possible to get attention, and on that I do believe it is a numbers game.

My personal account is set up to follow back those who are following me.

            One...this is old news.

Two...if it's what I am sure it is, and Twitter catches on to you doing this,
they will toss your ass right out of their site.

Software and systems like this have too much potential for abuse and
therefore, need to be used with extreme caution.

I followed 2 people on Twitter, manually, and have over 5,000 followers.

You don't have to resort to tricks to get a decent Twitter following.

That's because you are very special. You were new to Twitter, but you were not new to the web and had already established a reputation and following before you even went to Twitter.

    Your idea is not unique.
In fact hundreds of automated 'get xxxx followers' software shops
have been taken out by Twitter's legal team.

More to the point, they nuke thousands of accounts for automation,
and for using 3rd party apps that are against TOS, every week.
