What do you outsourcing?

Hello warriors,

One question for all of you: I'm in this IM business for while now, and I agree with everybody who says "smart marketer outsource most of jobs", so you get more time for doing what you do best..
Well I know that, but I'm still doing almost everything by myself! Sometimes I decide to outsource something, but then I change my mind and finish all the work by myself, because I think it's faster, considering finding freelancer, posting a job, explaining all things etc.

I need your opinion! What do you think about this, and what jobs do you outsource with easyness?

Thanks

Avdo

    I do a ton of outsourcing ...

    Social media posting
    backlinking
    website creation
    ecommerce
    forum posting

There are a ton of things you can use outsourcers to do. Just need to think outside the box, hire someone FULL TIME (it will be worth it), and keep good relations with them.

I was thinking about hiring someone, and I think it's best solution, but I still need to scale up a little bit my monthly income, to be able to hire someone fulltime..

      Thanks Teo

Do you have your own team full time employed, or do you outsource every job separate?

I have 2 main outsourcers, and they outsource when needed.

The Lady: she is a real writer, not a rewriter. The best proofreader in town. She takes care of writing content and organic promotions. We use unique content everywhere in the buffer zone and outline the possible paths of the customer to maximize results.

She is the one rewriting every single article in yum plr... she is not happy.

She is also the voice of my conscience and keep things in track. She is an amazing lady.

The tech gal: she can build any type of website, does the art, and some coding when necessary. She also writes the most technical of our content, as she has background in scientific research, and teaching at university level.

She is the one who did the research about the levels in the game and mindset groups. Also developed the system for writing self contained products. Clever girl.

The main thing I can tell you about outsourcing is: respect them.

I have heard again and again people talking about outsourcers as if they where a second cast.

To outsurce is to become the leader of a pack.

If you are not ready to take responsibility for your people, they will never give the best of them.

Definately article writing, time consuming. Backlinks? there are many backlink tools that will automate the process.

I outsource the things that take me a long time Or I can not do myself.

Graphics work (Mini sites, Blogs etc.)
Article writing (Seed article that I then rework with mass article control and submit to all article sites I can think of
Link building to an extent ( I Like to have control over some of it such as blog comments)

besides that there really is not that much. Unless its a repetitive task that someone can pick up easy and write a small report on each day I wont outsource it.

    I Agree with you Laura..

I'm talking about someone who would be a part of my team, and would be payed as much as he or she is satisfied with, and would be treated respectfully.. as long as we all are satisfied..

I outsource very little these days. Honestly I feel like it's more of a chore to keep these outsourced people producing quality work. It often requires too much hand-holding and by the time I've outlined their work for them, I may as well have done it myself.

Having said that, I do have one or two shining stars that I consistently work with. I consider them to be absolute assets. As with many other things in life, you have to work hard to find those gems.

Thanks..Definitely considering your words.. As I said earlier, I know all this, but when someone lays it out like this, it's so much easier to let go

    I have a couple.

I have a writer who helps me with overflow with some of my client- and I use her to write my own stuff too as she's worked with me for a few years and I fully trust her (let me know if anyone wants her info)

I have a designer I love dearly who is always fabulous and helps me a bit with tech stuff too (Karl Warren)

But MOST importantly, I have outsourced alot of my real life. I used nannies, and cleaners, and people to help me run my everyday life so I can earn money doing what I do best- which gives me more time with my family.
Outsourcing all the bits of your life that you don't enjoy is the key to success!

For me, it's just keyword research and article writing. These 2 activities forms the bulk of my internet business since I only build adsense sites and flip them when they show revenue.

I have a hard giving up control of any aspect of any project. However, I am resigned to the fact that outsourcing article writing and graphics saves me tonnes of times and allow me to focus on other marketing details.

Yes - today we can find freelancers worldwide and the most of them deliver quality. Whatever I can outsource I try to do. Just post a project and let freelancers bid - you can cancel anytime or choose the winning bidder. It helps you also to find out the international costs fro that and you can start with a small"test project" . For article writing I ask for 30 articles ( ~1$ each) and when I like the results I deal with them long term. Actually I have e.g 2 ENglish PhD university teachers from India writing articles for me - I can not do that for that price myself, right?

As for many of them that is the BEST way to generate higher than local income ( though you pay much less than at home!) they will adopt your tasks and be a reliable partner. That is the experience I made with outsourcing . Try this one :

Yup i am a member of this now called freelancer.com soon to be moved to said domain.
They are the best and i went to elance at one time to get some technology developed only to be told it was imposible so i went to my own site and posted same job and voila i think freeelancer is the best of em all anyhow but now i have proof.

I only outsource tech jobs i .e. programming but now i don't need to i have my own programmer in poland and he is tops-also came to me through freelancer

I had the same problem, it took me some time but my outsourcers were patient and I treated them well while I wen t through it and it paid off in the end. I learned that I dint have to do it all myself and it actually really did make life much easier. I still struggle with some stuff, but I just am very clear, concise and thorough with my instructions and I'm very communicable and available to them when Im unsure.

Map out all the things you have been doing. Choose the stuff that you want to do and put asise the stuff that you would consider outsourcing.

For example, replying to e-mails. You could get a helpdesk for this. Wesite building is another time consuming job. Get people to do advertising and backlinking for you.

Basically outsource everything that will take up too much of your time. Use the time to learn more about IM because this field is very dynamic. You do not want to spend time implementing something only to find that the rules of the game have changed.

I outsource traffic generation, blog building and graphics/header creation. I don't seem to have an artistic bone in my body, and I've just never considered myself very creative in that department, so I leave it to the experts to build my blogs and make them pretty!

You may think it's faster but it's not...

    - Give 5 different people 5 articles to write

    - Give 5 different people 10 backlinks to build each day

    - Have someone make videos and post them via Tube mogul

    - Have some write blog posts

    - Have someone write chapters to a new product you're working on...

If you can get all of that done faster than a group of quality outsourced workers than you're superman!!
