The exit pop on Mike's page: Get Lean Flat Abs with Free Tips to Lose Belly Fat

Mike's smart, so I'm sure it's working for him. Just go there and click "back" on your browser window. Would like to know what software or script was used to do that.

Thank ya.

How are people making videos like this, which are basically just slides with audio? Can you do this with Camtasia? I've just started messing around with Camtasia and have only learned how to do screen capture videos so far. Or is this basically like a powerpoint presentation that is then screen captured? Or something else entirely?

      Hi,

I wouldn´t use an exit popup, but a solution that will recognize if somebody wanted to leave the site... Not quite sure how to explain it in a way everybody is able to understand what I mean (my native language is German), but I would use a CSS layer that is positioned in the mood area. Have seen it here before:

http://www.5bucksaday.com/ (this is not my website ;-))

So if somebody comes next to the browsers navigational elements it will activate some javascript code which will open a lightbox. Inside the lightbox you can place your newsletter subscription, as done on 5bucks or mention your special offer... This is a way of interuption marketing I´ll use in the future...

Only my 2Cents, as I am not the biggest fan of exit pop-ups...

      Cheers from China,
      Sven

I think the script on the 5bucksaday.com site is the one from ActionPopUp.com. It allows you to determine whether people who visit your site see your popup once, or each visit.

As far as I can determine, while ExitSplash offers a ton of useful features but seeing the "only once" option is not available.
